The owner told me he has been in business for about 7 months. The humidor is fairly small, but has a respectable selection of good cigars. The members who were present while I was there were an interesting and eccentric bunch who were very welcoming. One guy who seems to be a local artist even gave me a cigar from his personal stash. If your're looking for a cigar friendly place in Alamogordo, I recommend this place.

We just wanted them to switch out the coil or exchange the unit for another one. This caused a big problem and they had to call the owner and instead of him empowering his staff to fix the problem we had to wait for him to come. We were in a big hurry and they refused to refund the defective item or do anything. The owner finally showed up and he refused to change out the coil and had an attitude like we were wrong. This is over a $2.00 coil. We demanded our money back and begrudgingly returned it. Customer service was non existent and none of the staff showed any concern about the issue.

Been here a few times in the last couple years. This time...the regularly rude lady who works there…read morewas true to form. I pull up thru the drive thru (because she cops a huge attitude when you ask to go in to see the cigars) and ask if she has a small box of cigars. She has no idea what I'm talking about. Oh, doesn't she sell cigars? Yes, but she has no clue what I'm taking about. A tiny box of cigars? (I'm using my hands to describe them) She rolls her eyes, a tin? Oh yes a tin. Well what kind? Does she have Don Tomas? No. (she just stares st me) What kind does she have? More eye rolling. We have acids... and here she stomps off and leaves for a few minutes and I think about driving away but have already endured so much crap from her that i may a well stick it out. She comes back loaded with about 10 cigar tins and dumps them on the counter (out of sight). We have these. Oh, are those Arturo fuentes? No. Okay, I'll take the white box. She takes the boxes out of sight, rings me up and surprises me by smiling and thanking me (this seems fishy but i drive away). Later that night i open my tin of Don Diegos and realize this box hasn't been in a humidor for months. They're so dry and crackly that they tear apart when you clip them. Never going back....ever....ever ever...ever...she's great incentive to quit smoking.

With me coming from San Francisco and my mom from Texas, she wanted me to go with her to the…read moredispensary here near our cabin in the mountains outside of Cloudcroft. Our neighbors at the cabin recommended this as the best dispensary in CC, so it's where we came, and are so glad we did. My mom's main issue is sleep. The bud-tender was super helpful with the products that they did have for sleep in edible form and was beyond friendly! This is a rather large store with plenty of potential to add more counters and inventory (again I'm used to SF standards of space and inventory). The store also offers literature, apparel, supplies, a pet section and gifts. For the actual bud, they do have smelling jars available for the strains that they sell in pre packaged pre-rolls and by weight. Keep in mind that there is a 20%tax without a medical license. The menu of products and strains was posted on a large screen and the bud-tender also gave pricing with each product he recommended. They take cash or debit only (as is standard for dispensaries no matter the state along with a valid ID to enter), and don't forget to tip your bud-tender. Definitely check them out if you're in the village.
