You can bring food and drinks on the boat though they do have a bar full of options to choose from if you want a beer or cocktails. No food options to purchase on the boat. Everyone was nice and my son even was able to take the wheel for a while. A positive was that we were able to jump on the boat with no reservation. There are 4 large booth tables and plenty of other folding chairs and tables to relax by. They have a bathroom on board the ship with its very own window. I'm not sure if it's normal but there was no music playing which I liked since I was able to have conversations with my family. Tom & Steve are the owners and very nice and welcoming.

On the weekends, Ron serves a gourmet breakfast to die for, much better than any restaurant in the area or restaurant/hotel in the world. My husband fished every morning and every night right along with the locals at various venues, and Ron knows them all. La Cle D'or is one, two, three blocks walking distance to everything in town. It's a great place for antique shopping, and Ron has some pieces available throughout your room for sale and at extremely reasonable prices. So shopping for the women and fishing for the men. In the evenings, there are a couple of restaurants that feature good food and good live music. This is a wondeful place to get away for a romantic weekend!

We loved the antiques, and since most of them are for sale, it was hard not to want to buy all of them! We'd definitely stay here again. And I'd be tempted to stop by to buy some of the wonderful antiques on my way down to Maryland even when I'm not staying over! I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough.

She said it was supposed to be that way. No. The room was not worth over 200 a night and it was not clean. There was dust behind the bed an inch thick. With luck I will never go there again.

The night of the rehearsal no one was there to assist or turn in the lights and it was a very dark and rainy night. Very dangerous for walking. The day of the wedding, it seemed that the staff only wanted us gone. They were cleaning up the rooms before the wedding was over. The lead coordinator of the day had our caterer in tears because they told her that I would be docked money due to her not cleaning the kitchen right. As it turned out we did get the entire security deposit back but if I had to do it over, and based on what I know now, I would not contract with them.

We were trying to solidify the plan in April/May for a mid-October elopement along with a several night stay in one of the cottages. What we received was lazy communication and terrible customer service. Nina is the employee to steer clear of. She alibied her piss poor responsiveness by saying the Eastern Shore culture just moved at a very slow pace. It took three attempts to receive an error-free contract. We had questions about the photographer that went unanswered for weeks. After nearly a month of trying to lock in our dates and address some of the finer details we received an email from Nina suggesting that we seek out another photographer or another venue altogether if they weren't moving fast enough for us. We did just that, refusing to beg anyone to take our money. Then today, three months later, we received an email from Nina asking us if we'd like to proceed. I responded to her email telling her we made other arrangements and that I'd be leaving feedback online about our experience with her. Attention David and Hillary Rinehart (owners), Nina is poorly representing your establishment and costing you money and your reputation.

We stayed in Marley's Cottage and it was incredible. The red door entrance from our parking space felt like stepping into a secret hideaway. Inside we had a fireplace, a tub on the screened back patio, and a porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It was private, quiet, and felt like our own little world. Breakfast in the Manor House was outstanding with fresh eggs from their own chickens, and the daily afternoon tea became one of our favorite parts of the day. We met other guests, enjoyed fresh pastries, and had great conversations with the owners, Dave and Hilari. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both hospitality and preserving the history of this place. Talking with them about Brampton's story and their vision was a highlight of our stay. Definitely try their Steampot dinner! It's loaded with fresh local seafood and felt like a true taste of the Eastern Shore. The property itself is beautiful to walk with gardens, meadows, and wildlife everywhere. Evenings by the fire pit were relaxing and made even better by Squeaky, the inn's charismatic cat. Brampton 1860 is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or just time to slow down and recharge. They are a marketplace for local business owners (which I love) and a gallery for local artists to display their art and crafts. I enjoyed seeing the eclectic mix of handmade items like wreaths, painted wine glasses, jewelry, antiques, and new items made by people in our community. They even offer crafting workshops and other interesting classes and events that I haven't attended yet, but I am looking forward to participating in those now that I am familiar with what they do. The people there were very welcoming and friendly to me, my mom, and my husband. This is a great place to visit and shop if shopping local is important to you like it is to me, and if you appreciate hand made items and arts/crafts. I'm definitely going back!
