Yet, after this place reported me to the police for theft that all changed. I have never once committed a crime. In fact I am usually the person who turns in people who steal. Even when my kids were young and they would take something I would take them back to return the item and apologize. Their lies have caused me severe anxiety and stress regardless of knowing I am innocent. My husband has stopped giving this place any money. We now will drive up to half an hour to get what we normally get at this place at another place. I have also had my friends who know my character also have ceased spending money at this place. Liars work here. Run away as fast as possible. "I have been living in PA for just a little over 3 yrs. I have absolutely no criminal record and have never stolen a thing in my whole life. I hate people who steal. Yet, this store has accused me of stealing a drink from them. They have never once approached me. I will do everything to prove I have never stolen a thing. Parking lot is difficult to get out of requiring all cars to exit onto a side road which, at lunch, had a steady stream of vehicles piling up at the red light. I literally went through farmland to get here. Once here I went inside and browsed the shelves. I checked for easy items to grab as snacks and drinks for my room. Thought about getting an MTO, but decided that that should wait until after I was checked in and settled at the hotel. Items were well stocked and I made it through the line fairly quickly. I also made my way outside to load up my vehicle with my items. Before leaving, I ended up stretching my legs here too. This location, being so close to farmland, was surprisingly busy. Although, I have found that in this part of Pennsylvania, businesses are cropping up along busy stretches of road. That pun was intended there. Because these businesses now sit right at the edge of the farm, once where crops where grown.

First of all, when the pumps are processing your debit/credit card, they are the slowest in the world at authorizing the transaction. Second, on multiple occasions, I have attempted to use my debit card at the pump, only to have it come up saying "see attendant". When I do, it turns out their whole credit card/debit card system is down, and they can only accept cash. The only alternative then is to use the ATM which has a $2 or $3 fee on it, or to go across the street to the Turkey Hill (which was my permanent solution). The only potentially redeeming factor about this place is that the gas is usually anywhere from 1 to 5 cents cheaper than the Turkey Hill across the street. Is this a good enough reason to stop here? Not for me.

I judge a business by its business partners as much as the products or services they offer…read more I enjoy Wawa's food and convenience enough to order delivery through their app. They choose to use DoorDash exclusively for delivery orders. In the past, I've had problems receiving deliveries from restaurants that use DD because that company is notorious for covering itself from lability when drivers fail. But with Wawa, this was my only option for one casual $25 order and, frankly, DoorDash has never failed to deliver from a venue near the airport because there are many drivers ready to fulfill our requests. Unfortunately for us, the driver reported they delivered my order and sent a photo confirming it went to the wrong address. The driver never responded to my texts, so I reached out to Wawa and DoorDash. Both refused to either immediately refund my order or replace it. Wawa blamed DoorDash and refused to make it right. DoorDash promised to escalate my issue to a "specialist" to determine if my lack of food or refund was worth action. Meanwhile, I made due with what was left around the house and told my guests that it was my fault to trust either one of them. It's a minor issue for them. It is an important issue for me when I order a meal for myself and my friends and family. I need to rely on the restaurant AND their chosen delivery service. Because Wawa did not step up and, in fact, hid behind the incompetence of its exclusice business partner, I will go elsewhere from now on. And because DoorDash is such a terrible business partner, I will never again patronize a restaurant that uses them exclusively for delivery, even if I order in or pick up.
