In my experience, he showed very little patience with children and seemed easily frustrated. I was honestly surprised by how he interacted with both kids and parents. He was pushy about treatments and appeared more focused on charging fees upfront than on fully explaining the procedures. At times, we were charged before the work was completed, and then told we would receive "credit" for the next visit. When we asked questions or expressed concerns, he did not directly address them. Instead, he rushed through explanations and dismissed our input. As parents, we felt our opinions were not valued. We were also pressured to use laughing gas for our child when we felt it wasn't necessary. When we asked about alternative approaches, he became upset and raised his voice, insisting he would not proceed without it. Overall, the experience felt rushed, stressful, and uncomfortable. A pediatric doctor should be patient, understanding, and willing to communicate clearly with parents. Unfortunately, that was not our experience

All my kids go there and we've been happy with the quality of work. The only downside is that pretty regularly the paperwork side of the house is lacking. You'll get a quote for one price and then the invoice comes in and it's $400 more than you were expecting. Or you update information and they don't do it properly and you have to enter new info and dispute charges because they used your old insurance info on accident and now it's your headache to deal with as a result. The front desk team seems a bit disorganized and the charges can seem unnecessary, confusing, if you don't stay on top of things. They also try to add unnecessary procedures and costs to inflate the total bill, so make sure you question why a kid needs laughing gas for sealant or something. But once you decline they don't argue, but unless you're monitoring what they suggest, you'll get charged for some stuff you don't actually need. TLDR, the ones doing the actual work on the teeth are A+, and that's most important. The front-desk team is C- and it seems like there's a concerted effort to squeeze the max amount of charges onto every bill/procedure. But it all averages out to a B+ and we'll continue going there.

The hygienist ( Jessica) made brushing your teeth a fun experience!! By the time Dr.Boiano came in the room, CJ voluntarily let him count his teeth!! Originally, I used a promotion for Groupon to start my treatment. The advertisement suggested the cost at $1,500, not surprisingly, my treatment wasn't as simple and it ended up costing about $4,500, which I thought was understandable for orthodontics. After a year o treatment and about 25 aligners, Dr. Antonio and I came to the decision that we could improve the straightness of my teeth even further, she did not charge me for the new aligners, only asked that I paid for the shipping (around $60). Unfortunately, what we thought would only be about 5 more aligners, ended up being 23 more, which again, was fine, but at that point I decided to speed up the process by going through the Propel treatment (around $750) and change my aligners every 5 days, instead of the most common 15 days. I highly recommend this treatment if one can afford it. Finally, at the end of the treatment, my teeth looked really good. I thought the lower teeth could have shifted a tad more, but it's completely unnoticeable and I figured it probably has to do with limitations of Invisalign as well as the shifting limitations of the teeth, and I also decided to go ahead and pamper myself to whitening, which I am very pleased with. Overall, I really like my new teeth, a lot, and Dr. Antonio and her team did a great job. I noticed a fellow reviewer who said that Dr. Antonio tends to up-sell her treatments or offer add-ons, that may be truth, but she's respectful to one's turning down those options. I was offered Propel right after I put my first set of aligners, which I declined at first, but decided to use for my second round of aligners. Do your research to choose what's best for you and your pocket. I was offered three different tiers of whitening, she suggested that the most expensive one was the best and most recommended, which I decided to go with, but one should do some research to see what's best for you. I do agree with some, I also find teeth cleaning costs a little expensive at her office (around $225 if I am not mistaken), and I decided to get it done somewhere else. Lastly, do not forget that at the end of orthodontics treatment, one must choose what kind of retainers one will use, and that will cost more money, so keep that in mind. I recommend Dr. Antonio, as I am very happy with my overall experience and am very satisfied with my new teeth!

I got a superficial filling done and during the filling I was experiencing excruciating pain, she gave me an extra shot which didn't help. After my filling, I was in constant pain and couldn't chew on that side of my mouth. I went back to the office twice to try to figure out what has happened. She suggested doing a cap, which was not medically indicated. Once she offered that, I got two other dental opinions and both agreed a cap was not indicated and the filling was improperly done, which had to be re done. This still didn't solve my pain problem, but has significantly improved. On top of this, her bedside manner is atrocious. I have seen her kick three different people out of the room during a routine teeth cleaning because they either passed her the wrong tool or accidentally dropped something. It made an already anxiety ridden experience so much worse. I am in the medical field and train new people and can not imagine treating someone I'm training or let alone a another human like that. I strongly discourage going to her.

While the orthodontist was kind and did his best, there was no way he was equipped to handle this with my very sensitive/sensory challenged son, and both visits were traumatizing and unsuccessful. Dr. Patel, and her wonderful staff - especially Maryluz who truly went above and beyond to help us-- got our son back into a trusting place, then were able to fit him and finally get the palate expander on with no trauma. We will forever be grateful because we know this goes beyond appearance - it is important for his health for a lifetime. We moved our 5 year old to the practice as well.
