While I have done a few times to SMA I have never been to this restaurant and it was a pure joy. Not only did we meet new friends at the table next to us, but we also enjoyed some of the best EU/US food!! Highly recommend the hot starter of ribs with wedge potatoes ... The meat was cooked so well that it fell off the bone and was fork tender. The sauce had just the right amount of sweet and spicy and the potato wedges were cooked to perfection and had a nice crispy shell on them. From my entree I enjoyed handmade pasta with shrimp and octopus. It was delightful and came with some fresh bread crisps. One of my friends ordered the hamburger and it was at least two and a half inches thick! The bun was freshly made and I'm not certain which different cuts of beef it included that it was very juicy. The pricing was not over the top and it was well worth the trip in. I would put this one on your to-do list if you have not already given it a shot.

I would definitely order this and the Elea Salad again. The olive oil used in the dressing is hand pressed and you can buy it there. I wish they had served a few pieces of pita with the salad as the last drops of the aceite would have been perfect with pita. The mousaka is rich - the beef and bechamel were tasty although not traditional mousaka from Greece. The house red wine is nice and a good compliment. I rarely order a house wine but this was good. They always serve red wine cold. The restaurant is NOT OPEN ON SUNDAY! Definitely a place I will return. Highly recommended.
