Not a quality lawn care company, and poor customer service. They actually damaged my lawn by applying fertilizer and weed control treatment when the weather was very hot. I couldn't even get them to send someone out to take a look. They looked at a satellite image and blamed my lawn damage on die back from the heat. I had another turf care company come out and look at the damage. It was NOT weather related. Their application people know NOTHING about turf grass, all they do is show up and spray. Now I have to slit seed my backyard to repair the damage they did. The worst customer service in the industry, and the results from their service isn't anywhere near what you pay. read more

We have used Turf Gator for years and honestly this may be the last. I don't know if they have changed chemicals or employees but my yard looks awful. We have seen on our cameras the tech only doing a portion. One even lied to me about having to sign for my receipt after he broke my storm door handle. I had to catch one tech and asked him why he was skipping spraying weeds. We asked for a quote for aeration, still waiting and after seeing what they did to my neighbors yard I am glad they didn't call me back. BTW- she feels the same way. I wrote a negative for Turf Gator about 2 years ago, because my lawn looked terrible. They have been caring for the lawn here forever. As a result I posted photos and my dislike for the service I had received. It was not good. After complaining and getting some dialog exchanges from the folks at Turf Gator they came up with a plan, that included an aeration and spreading seed. I have a heck of a water bill last fall but the seed took off, and began to grow. NOTE: Something I found out in discussion: Grass will not regenerate seed, and as such over time the grass will thin out causing bare spots and allow weeds to grow. Thanks Turf for standing by what you do. Resulting photo was taken today, and the least I can do is speak out about the results. It is easy to complain, but its harder to say when things are right. read more

I used this company for a few years. Initially they did a decent job, but later delivered very poor service, and expected me to pay for a yard full of weeds. My husband and I have had Turf Gator for a few years without any issues. This week we forgot it was that time of year again and didn't realize they we coming to spray. My husband who works from home went to let the dogs out and realized that they had sprayed for weeds. He also noticed that Turf Gator employee also cleaned up all of our dog toys prior to spraying. So far, I'm not impressed. I have the lawn treatment service and the mow service. As of 23 Mar, my lawn has been mowed once. I understand weather conditions such as rain can alter the scheduled date; however when you are told on 2 separate occasions someone is coming out and there isn't a cloud in the sky, that can be a bit dishearting.
