From the time of check in until the check out - everything was pretty smooth at this hotel…read more The front desk was welcoming and recognized the status and also had asked about car parking if needed. Also the views from the rooms that are towards the mountains are amazing.. especially during sunset and sunrise. The hotel is right by guildford mall which is very walkable (2-3 mins) And also there is a tim hortons and a gas station right across the hotel which was very convenient.

Not the Marriott experience that I was anticipating nor deserved…read more Issues: 1) 1 check in associate in early evening? Resulting in a 20-minute wait with me being the second person in line 2) Nobody onsite actually managing the pools '10pm-11pm adults only policy' that is has posted. Yeah, this was a joke. 3) Front desk lacking basic customer service skills. Lacking in effort to assist more than the status quo. Certainly not Marriott standard. Liked: 1) Hotel was clean 2) Housekeeping was exceptional and provided more than status quo service. Thank you for everything you do! 3) Overnight front desk ladies were pleasant and inviting. Overall, this property looks great on paper. When viewing from Marriott.com, it stands out. However, it does not do a good job of making sure all guests feel valued. It focuses on Higher tier members, and the rest do not matter as much. This hotel comes at a premium and is very outdated in room (especially shower/tub combo). This hotel was planned to be my go-to hotel, as I visit the area once every 2 months. That is unlikely at this point. I would recommend checking out the Civic Hotel nearby instead. They do a better job delivering Marriott's standards of service.

They spent extra time making my room hypoallergenic so we dropped off our luggage to check in at 3 pm and went to check out the small Kpop festival across the street. This hotel is in Surrey which has a huge population of Indians so I was able to find a chai place for excellent chai in less than a mile away. Also there's the SFU campus that is attached to a mall nearby which has the Neptune restaurant. It's in a convenient location. Pool was small though and the hot tub was only at 80f.

I have plenty of positive things I'd normally write about a property at this level. All of that is outweighed by extremely poor customer service on the back end. I stayed one night April 26-27, 2026 as a Platinum Elite Bonvoy member. At check-in I selected the standard 1,000-point welcome gift and the 750-point lounge alternative (in lieu of breakfast for two). When nothing had posted to my Bonvoy account after a week, I emailed the property. They confirmed in writing that both benefit codes were properly logged at check-in but said they couldn't escalate to Marriott until 10 days had passed. Day 10 came and went with no movement. I had to email again on day 12 and also submit a missing stay form to Marriott directly. Only after that did the bulk of the points post. The 750-point lounge alternative is still missing. I have now emailed multiple people at both the property and Marriott customer care about it. No one will resolve it. For context, I'm a seasoned Marriott traveler. I've had stays at Fairfield Inns and TownePlace Suites in suburban locations post points within minutes of checkout. A flagship Autograph Collection property requiring two weeks, multiple emails, and a missing stay form just to recover documented elite benefits is well below brand standard. We're talking about 750 points. The equivalent of roughly $5 to the property. I find it genuinely in poor taste that I have to write a review like this over such a small amount, but here we are. If you're a Bonvoy member who values your points and night credits, I would not recommend staying here. You're going to have to fight to get what you're entitled to

P&P is the first bed and breakfast we've ever stayed at and I think it might ruin most if not all…read moreof our future bed and breakfast stays. This is a beautiful little hotel in the suburbs of Murrayville. The historical inn has been beautiful restored and furnished - like traveling to a different time and place but with all the modern amenities of wifi, cable, central air-conditioning, and good quality plumbing. We had the privilege of staying in the Cinderella room (website photos give a nice idea of what each room is like). Beautifully decorated and on the side of the home where the rose vines grow. Impeccably clean. The bed was firm and pillows soft. One of the things we loved the most were the little details and touches: the hand painted quote from Mr. Murray, the artwork labels for each suite, the signature "P" on the hangers, and the chocolate & maple syrup welcome treats. Breakfast was brought to our door right on time and beautifully presented. The muffins were still warm and the high quality porcelain teapot kept our tea nice and hot. A filling continental breakfast! Kudos to Angela and her family for creating such a beautiful space and for their excellent service and communication. Can't wait to be back for a little staycation!

I stumbled across this B&B while browsing for a romantic getaway in British Columbia…read more The whole B&B is fairytale themed and so you can book the "snow white room", the "cinderella room", the "little red riding hood room" and more, you get the idea. Everything is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated without adding too much kitsch to the whole affair. The bed was comfortable and we loved the deep soaking bathtub we used to relax after a rainy day. The fireplace in our room kept us cozy and warm all night long and we would have loved to spend another night here. The (free) Wifi was super fast by the way! We met Wally on our stay and had a nice chat with him. He is super friendly and all about organic food and sustainability. The breakfast is pretty basic but good to get your day started with coffee, cereal, fruits and self-baked fruit-muffins. If you are interested you can get lots of information about the history of this B&B, Wally's family history and you can even touch a piece of the Berlin wall! We had a great night at this B&B and would love to come back! When we left we even got a glass of organic jam to take home, so nice to have such a delicious reminder of our weekend.

Food tasted fresh and some of the items were quite authentically Chinese. There was even live entertainment with a singer singing Chinese and English songs. Lastly, there were colouring sheets and crayons to keep the kids busy. Staff stopped by regularly to clear dirty dishes and refill drinks. Our server was friendly. When we were leaving, the kids received a red pocket on the way out. The kids were happy to get a chocolate coin in the red pocket envelope. Overall, great experience and I will be back to try their regular Sunday AYEC brunch.

They had a sushi station, roastbeef station, chef station where they freshly make the waffles, pancakes, omeletes, and egg benedicts. They even had a cooked station, seafood section, dessert station with a chocolate fountain and a charcutier station. Overall there was quite the variety and all the foods including cooked and chef stations were so good and delicious. I would come again cause of how much variety there really is!
