We were told "The Rush" Bike Zipline would only take 7 minutes but they did not account for the trek up to the deck. Not going to lie, the never ending steps were torture but the views, of the chocolate hills, at the top were amazing. You are asked to sign a waiver and then briskly taken through a safety demo. The staff will then fit you with a harness, hair net and helmet. If you have personal belongings, you can store them in the key lock storage lockers before you're suited and booted. Once you're suited for zip lining, you will walk up 3 short flights of stairs to get to the lines. The experience was such a rush of adrenaline I almost forgot to look at the view! You get to go twice, to and from the starting point, on the bike. Before you finish, there is a photographer who will snap a few shots and even ask you to hold you hands out, completely letting go of the bike. Once you collect your belongings, you have the option of buying printed pictures but if you have an Android, they will upload all your pictures via their desktop USB. Total time it took for 3 people from start to finish: Just shy of 2 hours.

The package also comes with a photographer with a few print-outs for free and the rest you can get from their computer if you have an Android (or bring an SD card). The cost? 2000 pesos (about $20/person). Not bad, I know. They have lockers to store your stuff. There's also a gift shop that sells cute monkey shirts; I bought one for my baby sister and she liked it! The rope course was challenging enough to get a sweat and ended in a mini zip line. You then proceed up what feels like 100 stairs to the large biplane and get geared up for your ride! Make sure you get there at a good time for good pictures!

Has many beautiful tropical plants and sculptures to take photos with. I would have enjoyed it more if it had less photo zones and more plants. It had more of a photo zone feel, and less garden, where everyone was rushing to just get the next photo. Overall, it was a wonderful visit with beautiful scenery, but didn't quite meet all my standards of a true garden experience.

The drive was about 1.5 hours and the road gets windy as we got closer to it. There are TWO (2) gardens in Sirao. The original Sirao Garden is the Little Amsterdam in Cebu City. The other is the Pictorial Garden. We went to the latter. Entrance fee is 70 pesos/person ($1.25 USD conversion) We had fun taking photos. It had a beautiful view looking below from the top. The garden is on a hill and there were different props and attractions to get your photos taken. The Instagrammable sceneries will not fail you. Actually, this place became a social media hit with both the locals and foreign tourists and became the most popular attraction in Cebu Transcentral Highway. The last time we were there was February 2024. It was super busy the day we went, but we eventually found parking. There was an entrance fee of 100 Philippine Pesos per person. The equivalent of about $2 USD. A fair price. I'm guessing it goes towards all the construction and renovation that they were doing to the place at that time. The views from Tops are still wonderful. Does not matter if you are there during the day or during the evening, you will still be treated with a magnificent view. Pictures do not do it justice. By now, construction must be finished. I believe they were working on adding restaurants and a hotel to Tops Lookout. The observation deck was also to be expanded to a 360 degree view of Cebu City! Look forward to returning in the near future! It is literally a COOL spot in Cebu!!

It was breathtaking…read more While we weren't able to see much since we came here after dark, the view of Cebu City was the icing on our cake. It reminded me of Twin Peaks in San Francisco when all the lights are lit up, it's magical! There's a couple of places to eat here including a "Tops Cafe" where I had a delicious freshly made Americano, from a lovely and super nice Barista! There are plenty of seating area (all outdoors) around the plaza of Tops Lookout, and on the evening we drove up here, it was truly spectacular. Weather was in the high 60's F (15 Celsius), cool breeze, clear sky, and we were able to see the whole view of Cebu City. If you do make it to Cebu, make sure you come up here to get a Birdseye view of the city day or night! It is truly breathtaking! Cheers!

Everyone has the same photos because they place the tarsiers in the same spots. It's crowded on the VERY SHORT path. It's supposed to be silent because noise easily stresses out the tarsiers, but no one is really enforcing it and there are noisy tourists who are so disrespectful with their noise and cameras. There are no guides, and it was a disappointing experience. I'm just relieved they do not allow anyone to handle the tarsiers. There's a store full of crap souvenirs at the exit. This place is a terrible waste of your time and I regret supporting it with my tourist dollars.

Historic Site [CEBU CITY Philippines]…read more Unfortunately, Mom and I weren't able to finish this self-guided tour because of all the walking we already did earlier in the day from the other sightseeing locations but we managed to see a few of the sites. At the entrance were photos documenting the history of the fort. I found this interesting and informative. This was also where we paid a minimal admission charge. Entrance fee is 30 pesos (about $0.50 cents). Fort San Pedro is the oldest military structure in the Philippines. It is also the smallest fort (not as big is Intramuros in Manila) yet it is one of the most famous heritage sites in Cebu. It served as an army base in the early 17th century built by a Spanish conqueror some 50 years after Magellan first landed. The large stone walls and massive canons are impressive and can be found inside. The fort is located in the downtown area of Cebu, inside the popular nature park, Plaza Independencia. Wishes we had more time to visit the entire area. Review #3347

Make sure you come here with a guide as it's more informative when you have a guide. Canons still work it's cleaned and if you can find a small canon that fits. The wood walls were replaced cobble stones and other materials. There seems to be ghosts on the top floor over the entrance as it was a prison. This place I heard can even rent for event or weddings. Interesting place. I would recommend a visit if you are in Cebu. [11/100]

This museum is not that big, but it packs a lot of history. My favorite was during The World War…read moreII. I didn't know that the Filipinos had briefly used Japanese currency. Their new "Rice of Gods" room was amazing. Our tour guide mentioned a private donor from a Filipino philanthropist, donated everything in the room to share the history of Cebu. We were also educated that Museo Gugbo was originally a prison. There were still marks of prisoners name and other carvings during that era. One highlight that was also a favorite of mine was the walk of fame wall where all the past Presidents of the Philippines were hung in portrait paintings. Next to their portraits shares a brief history of their life and accomplishments during their time in office. I highly recommend if you have time during your visit to Cebu City, pay a visit here. You will learn a great deal about Philippine history and the native tribes of Cebu. Cheers!

Located on m.j cuenco ave., if coming from the colon area, it'll be on the right side…read more There is a street right before you see the front entrance to the museum (again coming from colon), make the turn and you'll see a gate to the left. Honk your horn if its closed and security will open the gates to lead you towards the parking area. Parking appeared to be limited maybe good for 5-6 vehicles. I'm not sure if they have other areas to park as there seem to be a narrow alley, ahead of the pebbled parking area, that possibly can accomodate one more vehicle. Parking is free. We went about 3:00 pm-ish and there weren't many people there. You make your way towards the front of the museum to pay the entrance fee (locals paid 30 pesos and I believe it was 75 pesos for foreigners. They also have discounts for senior citizens and students). So you go pass the gazebo structure from the parking lot, then cross the courtyard towards a fountain. Someone at a small desk will point you in the direction to where you make the payment then politely ask you to sign a guest book. Then you make your way around. You may opt for a guide (which we were told was free of charge) but we decided to explore the museum ourselves. There will be 4 areas where there is air conditioning, and ends after the world war 2 exhibit. There are interesting excerpts from history as well as artifacts. I particularly found the world war 2 area most interesting, though I wish there were more artifacts and maybe some interactive activites that can really immerse someone during that time in history. After leaving the world war 2 exhibit you head down a steep stairway, if you are tall be careful of the overhead. I consider myself short and even then I felt as if I was gonna bump my head. So be careful. The courtyard was spacious. There are a couple more exhibits around the courtyard that include maps and blue prints of various structures, cities and different islands in the Philippines. As previously stated, wish there were more artifacts to see and maybe an activity or two. However, what was displayed was informative and left me wanting to learn more about the Philippines and Cebu's history. Thank you for having a musem such as this to introduce us to Cebu's history. Whites & Greens Beach Resort…read more My family has a friend who suggested we'd stay at this beach resort. We originally had a place to stay but the friend really insisted we'd stay here because that friend knows someone can book us for 2 nights. So we gave in and said sure. My sisters and I were hesitant because of reading the reviews and it only has 3 stars. I searched pictures online and it showed just the bedrooms and I thought it wasn't that bad. We came in to the resort thinking it would be great but it honestly wasn't. Tired from our trip because after having a delayed flight and two hours later it cancelled; of course our patience were out of reach, we thought that our rooming situation was good but it turned out not to be We thought we would have a big room or two rooms to accomodate 7 people, that is a walking distance to the beach. But I don't know what happened. We did get a room but we couldn't fit all of us. So we made it work. I honestly was ready to go home. It seriously was the worst beach resort I've ever stayed in. Let me tell you our bedroom situation. In a room there are 2 beds. One has a stain and the other doesn't. Let's just say my dad slept on the floor. We got annoyed and fustrated at each other due to the situation we were stuck into and it was too late to complain to the front desk because it was already 1 am. So we just freakin dealt with it. The bed frame is freakin dusty. There are molds on the walls and bathroom curtain, molds on the ceiling and looks like it is about to collapse, ants on the bathroom wall, the toilet is just where the shower is that runs cold and slow water. Like what the heck kinda resort is this?! Taking a shower disgusted me. Looking at the dirty molded walls and toilet like what the heck. I later was just looking at the ants and following where they end up going and I think I destroyed its colony so a lot of them bursted out of the cracked walls. I was curious to know and they evacuated. Lol There was just one blanket and one (stained) towel given. We showered with no towel to dry ourselves. There's a tv with two remotes both of which its batteries died, 1 light bulb out, a small fridge, and a small table with two chairs To give a star? Sure. 1 star.. for a working Air Conditioner This resort should be shut down too, the same as they shut down Borocay Resort. It needs extra cleaning and renovation. Oh since there was no nearby parking, we had to walk 10 mins with all our luggages to the resort Beach resort? More like a freakin motel.. The wifi doesn't even freakin work! Room 10 . Right when we checked out, I think we had a refund. Room 13 - the shower doesn't work
