Can I give this hell hole a negative stars because I would. I have zero clue how this nursing home is even able to operate and meet minimum state guidelines. Please do your loved one a favor & do NOT place them here for long term care or skilled rehabilitation. Pleased look at the states complaints & numerous violations for TNC. It speaks for itself. They have also settled numerous lawsuits for negligence. I have a laundry list of issues with them so buckle up. My mother was living here for 2 months until I could find her a new location. First,very snotty med nurse named Nichole told me she had no time to mess with me to hurry up and take my meds A night aide told me when I asked for help with the bedpan that just put me on it to pee why again? My husband came everyday and on two occasions when he used my bathroom someone had dumped feces in the sink from a bedpan. It gets better than what I just said. This place is disgusting, filthy, rundown. There are good, caring people on the staff but also many who are indifferent at best. Mistakes big and small occur daily, some actually dangerous. If you're lucky they apologize but they don't learn from them because the mistakes and neglect continue. I wish I could get my friend out of here, they deserve better than this nightmare. Horrible atmosphere. Smelled like pee and poop when we walked in. Patients hollering for help and being ignored. Definitely a no.

Great place to work and 4 star rated through CMS! The staff there have longevity and love working at TNC!

Disappointed that we are forced to return home without the proper wheelchair. When we were presented with the 20 inch wheelchair that came from American Medical we knew right of way that it would be a tight squeeze for our doorways. My wife is 5'3" and 115 lbs fully dressed. When we asked if there was a smaller wheelchair, the social director told us that American Medical only had the 20 inch size. When I was able to pick up her bedside commode from their office I inquired about the wheelchair. They said that yes, they had a 16 inch wheelchair appropriate for her size and would be glad to exchange it. I declined the offer as I had already ordered an appropriately sized wheelchair from Amazon with 2day delivery only to be informed on the day it was to be delivered that the item could not be shipped in time to be there when she comes home with no assurance of when it will be shipped. Fortunately we have a transport chair but her movement now depends on me. We are now forced to spend out of pocket for a wheelchair that should have been covered by Medicare if and when we can obtain one. read more

CAUTION: Speaking from a health worker perspective, TNC could care less. I can't imagine what it's like for the residents who don't have a choice once they are there. I was scheduled to work here via a PRN shift. When I showed up, as I always do 5-10 mins early, I was greeted with, "what's your name? You're not on the schedule. Did you check to make sure you were still on this morning?" I had. And then checked while standing there. She told me to hang out until other staff get there to figure it out. I hung out for 15 more minutes with never an acknowledgment. I could've taken other shifts. Or at least treat me like a person and say something. I left. Reached out to my PRN staff and tried calling TNC several times to different departments just to speak to a human. It all goes to voicemail. This must be a permanent Twilight Zone episode for residents. It makes me sad to think of it. Fast forward to the end of the shift, and they no-showed me. Ain't that a b@&! Currently trying to resolve this in my PRN staffing because they owe me for showing up, but I won't hold my breath on them doing the right thing. So, I write this to warn others about their ethics at TNC. read more

TNC is a fabulous place to be...At TNC you are treated as a family member; once you visit TNC the staff remember you and who you are here to visit. The staff take pride in communicating with the residents and the family regarding the care provided. TNC is great and the patients here are first priority. read more

This is for nurses or aids thinking of working at TNC. I took an RN agency assignment at this place. I walked in cold: no orientation whatsoever - and the nurse I followed left early - so no report either. Nothing. Then I discovered my team had 28! patients. Yep, *28*. I should have turned around and walked out right then. Of my 28 patients 8 were diabetics, and TNC nurses do their own fingersticks. One of these was possibly the worst patient I've ever had to deal with in 24 years as an RN. There were supposed to be two staff members present whenever someone went into his room; but no one told me about that until after I'd finished the shift. It was a miserable day to put it bluntly and I never went back. If you're a nurse thinking of working at TNC... expect to get hammered. If you're a family member, realize that the staff there are getting worked very hard and your loved one will have to wait an hour or two before their need is addressed. I think I can explain the good reviews TNC is getting here: they're bogus. I've been a nurse a long time and worked quite a few places, as a staff nurse and through agencies. My dad was admitted as a SNF patient in order to receive therapy to get his strength back post covid hospitalization. He has been there 20 days and is worse off now then when he admitted. It takes up to 2 hours to get call light answered. They put him in a diaper because they said "it's easier if you use the diaper and we will clean you up when we have time." He was told this by numerous workers. He has had up to 5 bed sores in 3 weeks. It took 2 weeks and us complaining and reporting them for him to even get a shower. The rooms were not clean. There was shit all over his roommates tray table and went through 4 roommates before it finally got cleaned. Therapy there is a joke. It's a horrible place. read more

My 75 year old dad, recovering from triple-bypass, diabetic, dialysis, laid in his room for almost 24 hours with no medication and virtually no care from the staff. By the time we got him to the hospital, his blood pressure had risen to 201/75 and blood sugar was high from no insulin. Facility was extremely dirty and staff was hateful. We were told it was our only choice - not true!!! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! read more

Tulsa Nursing Center staff was amazingly helpful through navigating the process of admission for my mom. (Especially in this COVID environment) They were gracious & patient. Once mom was admitted and TNC became her home..it was confirmed as a good decision when my mom said ..she feels well taken care of by the staff. Friendly and caring staff, good food and horrible TV reception. I was asked by someone from State how I thought I would be treated at a skilled nursing facility prior to my stay and I told her I never thought about it at 66 years old that I would be in one. I also told her that I love them and will miss them but not enough to stay. I fractured my femur on my right leg and I was taken to St. Francis Hospital. I arrived March 19, 2018, had surgery March 21 and was released to skilled nursing March 27. In the beginning I had problems with response to my red light so I would call from my cell phone and tell them what I needed. Maintenance changed my lightbulb but I still had problems. My nurse, came in and I told her. She went into my restroom and released the call button and it was fixed. I received so many compliments from more people than I probably have in my lifetime, other than my husband. My Physical Therapist, Leslie is fantastic. She encourages you, she makes sure you're okay, she brings you water and a wet washcloth when you need it and she pushes you to your limit. You know she cares about your recovery. The food is good but they do serve the same thing a lot. Most everyone is very helpful, kind and caring. If they seem shy, just give them a chance and they'll open up. I was released June 13th to go home with home health. I still miss them but I'm so glad to be home. Thank you to all my nurses, CNAs, CMAs, PT, OT, shower staff, cafeteria staff, laundry staff, housekeeping, maintenance and every other employee and resident I was privileged to meet. My father was brought to this place by doctors orders for a short term rehabilitation.... ( my father is diabetic and has dialesis every other day he had his right leg half amputated there for he needs rehabilitation)..... This has been a nightmare since day one. They do not pay any attention to them at all ,the patients have to look for the nurses for help....I was visiting my father on Saturday.....I was there with him for 4 hours not once did they come to check on him.....he has asked for help my mother has begd them to help they never helped him AT ALL!!!!!! My father was unresponsive I called to this place because they would not help my mother when she was explaning to them he would not respond so I drove over there and on my way called many times I would get hung up on finally some one had the dignity to answer I told them to go see him they just kept teling me he is ok he will get over it I hung up and called EMSA my sealf to go get my dad and bring him to the hospital......please don't put your love ones through a nightmare like my parents had to go through!!!!!!! (There is way more that happen but to list them all I would have to write a book......be carefull) P.S this happens in a time span of less than a month of him being at this death house!!!! My father is in back at the hospital now because of the neglect of this people.......they do not help housekeeping does not exist in this place the patients have to clean and take out own trash they don't bathe anyone at all.....the place smells horrible. ..... read more
