I had a rough start, but it is a process and making sure I provided detailed Feedback about each date that was rough at the start, lead me to my person! We have been what they call Happy Hold for 6 months now and enjoying every moment together. It is never boring, ever, with him! All I know is, this is a way better avenue than online dating. From the communication, I understood I would likely be expected to cover at least half, if not the full expense. This differed from what I had been told earlier -- that first meetings are usually simple, like coffee or lunch so I chose to continue with the cancellation. The company declined to refund the fee. I disputed the charge with American Express, and after review, the charge was reversed. They later reported my account to credit bureau in December 2025 and it remains disputed. I recommend carefully reviewing timelines, cancellation terms, and expectations before signing an agreement.
