She was so charming and made me feel safe. She was working in the OKC office and the first match I was set up on was with a MARRIED man! I am currently working with Brie, she's a sweetheart has always been very polite and professional and I believe she is working hard on finding me my match! Just signed up for the service. I'm still new to it, but so far I like it. The staff member that signed me up was honest about the cost, and didn't try to push anything on me. My first date was with a very attractive, intelligent woman, and my second date is upcoming. There is a real value to the service. Someone who isn't serious isn't going to go through the background checks, the interview, pay the cost, etc. So it tends to filter out those who are dont want to put in the work, right from the start. I agree that the personnel are friendly. The recruiter was amazing, but she did what salespeople do - exaggerate. She said I would receive a referral every 3-4 weeks, and it MIGHT on occasion be 8 weeks. It has been 8 months and I've had 4 referrals. Just PLEASE take the contract home and read it carefully. They don't guarantee anything. You could get one referral a year, and that's not guaranteed.. I got one right away, awful, and then I read the contract. You can't cancel for any reason after the first referral. I found that when I call after 2 months to complain, they miraculously have someone for me. I admit I'm not a catch, but I was assured that there would be no problem finding referrals for me. And a referral means when you talk to them, not when you have a date. If possible I would give a negative rating. The "matches" they identified for me would have been laughable if I had not given them my $$. I'm a Christian; a match was an atheist. I'm a professional with a doctorate; a match was a sanitation engineer. Initially, I was interviewed for hours; one of the matches was a new widower (as in his wife died the previous week) who spent his days at his wife's gravesite. The first match was an intelligent but closeted gay man (he revealed to me that he only dated to make his family think he was seeking marriage to a woman). My complaints about giving me erroneous information to get me to accept the "dates" were met with defensiveness and ridiculous excuses. After the contact ended, a representative had the audacity to call asking me to sign a new contract and give me verbal assurance that they would be professional in the matches next time. WOW! I was married 30 years and thought this would be the safest way to get reintroduced into the dating pool. I was impressed with the initial interview - very thorough, but I didn't feel like I was being "grilled" or judged in any way. The background check is great! THat alone, helped weed out the scammers and potential crazies. Upon signing up, their handout reiterates a lot of common sense and safety issues. I just had my first date. They were very close, but not quite....but, that's ok. The ice is broken and the butterflies in the stomach are flying in formation. The staff seems very knowledgeable and friendly. My interview at first was going well as I was filling out my profile. My interviewer assured me there were a lot of men in the area that would fit my criteria. As I tried to read over the contract, he then told me if I signed that day, he would take off $500.00 of the sign-up price of $2500.00. He continued with what I believed to be high pressure sales tactics. I was cute, personable, intelligent, no problem finding matches. Also, he mentioned, that he had another appointment in an hour. So, yes in my haste I signed the contract with only a minimal review of it. My first match came the beginning of August 2019. The man named Al was seven years older than me, I asked for no more than 5. On our coffee date I discovered he was extremely liberal, I'm conservative. Long hair ponytail, I asked for no ponytails, scruffy beard. I was told he had a PhD and was a consultant. No PhD, nor did he consult. My second date on or about the 8th of August 2019 was again, to my surprise, not close to what I was looking for. A nice man, but then again, liberal, had health issues to which he walked around the state park where we met with walking sticks. The terrain was flat. Date number three mid-August 2019 was a nice man, however - 8 years older. After two months on October 29, 2019, date number four. Another nice man just no real connection. After each "date" I filled out the requested questionnaire and promptly sent it in. A possible match on Dec 3, 20219, nope, lived over 30 miles away, another lived 50 miles away. When mentioned by my matchmaker that I could relocate, um, at age 67, no. I mentioned that in my interview at the office. Mid-December I received a call from a girl named Shonday. She offered me a premiere membership for an additional $700.00. Telling her of my disappointment, her only comment was that things slow down over the holidays. I asked what exactly was a "premier" membership? I'm now getting sub-standard dates no one else wants? She danced around the answer as to what exactly this premier membership was versus what I had. To my surprise, last week during a conversation with Emily, I have a trial membership. When asked what that means, Emily also, shall we say danced around the answer. There is nothing in the contract that states a "trial membership". On Jan 17, 2020, Emily called with a match named Luke. Again, after expressing my disappointment with this company and asking for a refund, I reluctantly agreed to this. After a five day wait, he never called, and I contacted Emily. Again, asking for a refund for my three introductions. She continued with her sales pitch and informed me that my match even though he didn't call would be counted against the seven that I paid for (it's in the contract). I informed Emily that I would no longer be interested in this company and insisted that I still receive a refund. With-in ten minutes of ending the conversation, I received an email wanting me to confirm that I wanted my membership to be put on hold. I replied that was not correct and I wanted a refund. This morning Mar 9, 2020 at 9:50 a.m. I called Luke. We are given the matches phone numbers to recognize when they call. I told him about my membership concerns. I asked him if he was contacted about me and had he been given my information? He said he was contacted; however, he had no intentions to call me because he had requested the week before to have his membership put on hold! So why would I be charged with an introduction that never was? I emailed Emily about this today. A total waste of time and money, shame on me. read more

They fail to provide the services they verbally claim to provide in the initial sales process. They say they will provide a match every 8 to 12 weeks until you meet your match or until your "purchased" matches (I purchased 16 matches) are expended. Two years into this ridiculous process and they have provided me with five names all of which occurred in the first 10 months. I have heard from them twice in the last twelve months but they never had a confirmed match for me. That is almost 14 months without a single match, certainly NOT the 2 to 3 months they verbally discussed during the sales process. The service is highly deceptive and a waste of a large sum of money. Foolishly signed up before doing my homework on the company. Later when I took the time noticed several of Google reviews seemed fake because they were within a few months of each other and the reviews were way to positive. In addition, the reviews on Yelp were poor as well as a decent number of Better Business Bureau complaints. Signed up on a Thursday afternoon. Wanted my money back within 3 days after the research, called over the weekend to cancel but kept getting told I needed to talk to Megan. Never sent my personality information into the firm, all they did was a background check on me. That is all. By that Monday was finally able to speak to Megan and she informed me I was only entitled to a half refund, because of the "Contract". I get that I signed the contract, however, if a business has to lean on contract law protection to keep a customer's money who has not even used the service and was a "member" for only a few days and then he wanted out, this is a terribly negative sign for the business and the services it provides. I can understand receiving only half if I had actually gone on at least one date or even a few weeks went by. However, I wanted my money back within a few days. This is bad business practice, to keep customer money. A business should lean on its services to make happy customer and make money, not lean on contract law. I was informed that if I had actually asked to have the cancelation fee stricken from the contact I could have, but I was stupid enough not to do that. So the firm can and will give you a full refund within a certain time frame if you ask for it at the time of the contract signing. Also, the firm could have tried to find out why I was so uncomfortable with the service all of a sudden and figured out a way to make me happy and keep me as a member. In my case, I have come to the conclusion that they will "match" you with whoever might be available and maybe somewhat what you are looking for. Very unprofessional read more

A caveat before starting: I have not signed up for their service. And have no plans to. The one-star review is for the rudeness I have encountered from their phone solicitations. A few months ago, I received a card in the mail advertising a dating site, brokenarrowsingles DOT org. I went to the website, thinking this was going to be a more locally focused version of, say, OKCupid, but after entering my information, I learned that this was a matchmaking site that had human intervention to make matches instead. I do not have a problem with this, but due to 50+ hour work weeks and a second shift schedule, I rarely have the time to schedule a meeting with a matchmaker in person, so I waited for the call from the matchmaker and explained that I had filled out the online form expecting something different, and was not interested in their services. The person on the other end of the call started to exert some rather high-pressure sales techniques to get me to change my mind, but I maintained a steady mantra of "No thank you" and finished the phone call. I assumed this would be the end of it. I was mistaken. Since that initial phone call, I have received between one and four calls per week from this company to inquire when I plan to schedule my initial meeting, and I have to start from the beginning explaining that I am not interested in their services, and put up with several iterations of "How do you know you aren't interested, since you haven't tried it yet?" questions before the salespeople will relent. Today, however, came the call that prompted me to write this review. A while back, after the first week of these phone calls, I'd done my due diligence, checked online reviews, did some research on the company, and contacted a few people that had posted reviews, asked them a few questions about their experiences, and came to the conclusion that this service was, indeed, not for me. Today I received a phone call from another of their salespeople, told them that I had, long ago, attempted to tell several of their salespeople I was not interested, and instead of simply replying "Oh, I'm sorry, and I'll take your name off our call list," like I had hoped for, the salesperson proceeded to ask why I was not interested, and when I said that I had read reviews and talked to a few people that used the service and found that it was not for me, I was met with a "Well, then, what's the name of our company?", followed by a few more rather interrogative questions. Full disclosure: I could not directly answer the stated question, as I was at work and did not have access to my home computer where I kept the file I had made months ago, could not recall the exact name of the company or affiliate, and felt that answering the question even slightly incorrectly would result in further hostility from the salesperson. In summary, I can not recommend, or see myself, spending money on a company that treats potential customers as rudely as they have treated me, since if they are this rude to me now, how rude would they be after I'd taken that treatment and given them money for it? read more
