A Hidden Gem for Musicians!…read more Whether you're a beginner or pro, Saied's offers great prices on guitars, keyboards, and accessories--cheaper than online stores and Guitar Center. They also offer private lessons and a solid selection of books for teachers and students. For acoustic pianos, head to the 31st and Yale location, but for anything else, 71st has covered. Friendly, local atmosphere that beats big-box stores any day! As a professional music teacher and performer, I buy my books, equipment, and strings at Saied, and would recommend it to any other musician. Cheers!

Wow! Walked into this music store to price pro workstations…read moreand arrangers. I was rudely approached by a salesman on the acoustic piano side of the store who asked the cursory salesman question, "Can I answer any questions?" I replied, "No. Just looking." His response was to step a bit closer with his hands in his pocket and his posture exaggeratingly taller giving me a major stare. I asked if this was okay? He then asks, "I know you, don't I?" I said, "Nope. Not from here." His response as he is making me that much more uncomfortable with his glaring stare, "Oh, I know you! You are in here all the time!" He the stares me up and down staring at my shoes and then slowly moving up until he makes eye contact once again. I felt so uncomfortable by this point that I walked out of the store. Here is my suggestion to the owners of this music shop: When a customer walks into your store treat them with respect. The alternative: The 7 to 10Gs the customer was planning on spending on a pro keyboard arranger, workstation and podcast studio equipment will not ever be spent in your store.
