What a fun tour. Emma did a great job explaining the process and history. She was very approachable and knowledgeable. The distillery is a marvel of modern engineering combined with many, many years of whiskey making. The little shuttle that takes you from the visitor's centre to the storage facility is adorable, and Andy the driver was great. The smell when you walk into the maturation (aging) warehouse is divine (if you're into whiskey). The cask pull in the Snug was fun. It's definitely worth the drive to see this beautiful place, taste some fine drams and learn.

We reached out early and were able to do a morning tasting. The facility is beautiful, evidence of their success. The staff we encountered were friendly. Brian was our guide, he was lovely, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

We booked the "Distillery Experience Tour" and had a fantastic time. The tour opens up with an Irish coffee for everyone in the group before you're given a brief history lesson. There's a standard walk around the grounds that includes a short bus ride to the barrel house where you then sample a fresh pot still whiskey straight from the barrel in a cozy part of the warehouse! All in all a great balance between informative and a unique experience. John was our tour guide and Ray drove us in the "Tullabus" and both were excellent. I've had the "Distillery tour" experience a few times on Bourbon Trail visits and this was the first time I could recite back most of the information offered during the tour. Highly recommend to any beverage enthusiasts and those wanting to learn more about the history of Irish Whiskey.

What a great experience. It starts with a welcome Irish coffee before the tour starts. I had no idea what an "Irish Coffee" was. I am definitely not a coffee drinker but this was really tasty. Then you get a great explanation on the history and process of how Tullamore Dew came to be and can be made. Next is a visit out to the warehouse where you get to see all the casket whiskey storage. It smells amazing. Next is where you get to taste the copper distilled whiskey straight from the cask in the secret warehouse snug which is a nice touch. Then it's back to the front where you get a 3 whiskey tasting at the end. Then it's last opportunity (for a fee of course) is a chance to blend your own bottle based on some smells and answering some questions. Mine came out amazing if I do say so myself. It gets a label with your name & date which is all about the curated experience. Highly recommended trip. Our tour guide was Frankie and he definitely made it a fun experience.

We had a phenomenal and informative tour of the distillery at Tullamore! John and Andy were amazing and we enjoyed lovely tastings and Irish coffee. Would 100% recommend this tour and stunning facility!

This was a bucket list trip of ours. We both enjoy Tullamore DEW Irish whiskey above all others. The tour gave us a wonderful well rounded history of the Tullamore DEW whiskey we also got to have delicious Irish coffee and several tastings throughout the tour. Daria was very informative and engaging and so was Will who drove the shuttle. Don't want to miss this it's pretty cool!

This was my favorite whiskey tour we did on our vacation. The tour guide was excellent and I loved our tasting choices each one was different and I discovered a new favorite. The tour guide even offered a few of us a taste of one of their new whiskeys after the tour. We bought some souvenirs at decent prices. They even serve food. My only gripe about all the tours, I wish they were cheaper. This particular distillery has limited parking, thankfully we had no problem at the time we went. Recommend this tour if you're in the Tullemore area of Ireland.

On arrival the stone building looks lovely. You walk into the shop first and pay there. Staff are lovely. We had a coffee in the bar/restaurant. Coffee was lovely and I'm hard to please. Tours seem to start on the hour. Although the tour was good it was mainly videos and not much of the 'old way' etc there was a few videos. Our tour guide was funny at times, lovely girl. The tasting was good if you aren't the designated driver. You get to taste 3. I couldn't taste any as I was driving but in other whiskey tours I received a miniature whiskey which would have been nice to receive. If in Tullamore it's something to do.

We never tried anywhere else after than. We used to go into the Lounge, but we would hear great laughter in the bar. Being, Dubs, we asked one of the bar men, then, John, was the bar just for locals, we didn't want to intrude. John told us we were more than welcome to go in to the bar, so on that day Brian and I had our soup and toasted sandwiches and coffee in the Bar and with some of the locals watched "Last of the Summer Wine", and some. Whenever we went into Paddy Dunnes we only went into the Bar after that. Brian and I enjoyed going into Paddy Dunnes. It was not usual for us to go to a pub when we lived in Dublin. Sunday's after mass in the Dominican church, Paddy Dunnes's became for Brian and me a place to go, for an extension of the "Spirit". While still drinking coffee or a beer, the spirit of our hearts were lifted or we could just BE. No pun meant. We met genuine people, who welcomed each other and us and vice versa and we enjoyed each other's company and "genuine Irish Craic". We cared about each other, genuinly cared. Within a very short space of time of finding this 'Hub', there was a sudden serious illness and death of a woman, Mrs. Dunne, [we never had the privilage of meeting her]. We felt 'At Home' in Paddy Dunnes. It was never dull, the craic, the banter, winding each other up, the rows, god there were some mighty rows, difference of opinion, GAA, Athy, Castlemitchel, the ggs's ............We never came across so many men named John or Jo, but not young enough to have been called after JPII, but not old enough to have been called after John 23rd or John Kennedy. My Brian, my husband Brian, got cancer and died very suddenly in August 2012. Both Brians family and mine were around me. But we had another family, "The Paddy Dunne's Family". They were there at the church, they helped lift his coffin up the steps. Brian would have been chuffed. I was chuffed. Our families came back with me to Paddy Dunnes for Soup and sandwiches. Yeah did us proud. So for a Really Good Pint of Guinness or whatever you're having yourself!! Mega Craic, Extremely Good Staff and a huge mix and gatherum of all sort of people just GO to Paddy Dunnes no matter what the mood. F 'n' B.

However. We found ourselves with a LOT of time to kill, and we were less than a block from Temple Bar, so we said, "what the heck. Let's just go so we can say that we were here." Well, we never made it. On our way, we saw a small sign that said, "Whiskey room", and we both were pulled by magnetic forces into the small room. When I tell you that the 2ish hours we spent here were some of the best memories of our trip, I am not exaggerating. The bartender Dillon (Dylan?) was amazing. He knew his stuff and recommended some wonderful whiskeys that we had never tried before. Our favorite was Dunville's. (Thanks a lot, Dillon/Dylan, we can't find it in the states!!!! lol) Also, he poured the first Guinness of our trip, and it was 10/10 the best Guinness I've ever had in my life. (After drinking LOTS of them over the month we spent in Ireland, it's still the best pint I had.) The bar/room is very small, and there were only 5 or 6 seats around the bar. It was cozy, quiet (until the small group that had assembled there bust out into a rendition of "Tom's Diner"), and exactly what we were looking for. My recommendation is to skip Temple Bar, and make your way into this gem. It was absolutely amazing.
