My wife hired Kevin to cut our lawn and he did an extraordinarily bad job. Kevin destroyed our neighbor's irrigation system and the City had to come out to cut their water off. Kevin ran his truck into the side of our home and damaged a section of siding that now needs to be replaced. Kevin left tire tracks that pulled up sections of grass throughout our lawn. He also managed to hit a tree in our yard with his truck. After initially being apologetic and promising to take responsibility, he has gone silent and stopped responding to emails or phone calls. At this point, we're likely going to need to have him served and go to small claims court. Do not hire this man.

Richmond Irrigation makes their profits through two dishonest methods one the $75 job evaluation…read morefee and two, large unnecessary upscale repairs for simple issues. They'll spring one or two dishonest methods on you that kind of run the same path. They already have you for $75 so they enlarge the complexity of the job in the hopes that you're naïve enough to take it, but if you're smart enough to decline it, they still got your $75. The amount of up charging with this company is insane. Simple fixes become these exorbitant outrageously large jobs. They claim to be honest, but it's clearly dishonest business practices. They do not have your best interest in mind. Is 100% better to find a smaller company that's willing to do a good job without trying to drain your bank account.

They did fix my problem by diverting water from my home, but caused a whole new problem which resulted in a retaining wall failing. I am not a structural engineer and was relying on the expertise of Richmond Irrigation. My wall failed 2 years after they did the work which diverted the water from my home and against my retaining wall. They have many reasons why it isn't their fault, but in the end I felt mislead and cheated. BUYER BEWARE!

About the time we were going to sign the fourth contract to have work done , a family member had to step in for us . I was having headaches that were 24 hours a day . Vertigo so bad I had to stop driving . My husband was becoming confused and could not concentrate . The relative was standing on the crawl space encapsulation membrane because the floors and under flooring had been removed when a sun ray shone on his boot . He and two JES employees got on there needs and followed the beam of light . It lead to the door of the encapsulation .It was inches too short . Moisture was getting in as well as mice . This meant the dehumidifier was working hard to keep up with the moisture that was getting under the house . Mold was everywhere. The joists they were sistering to had mold all on them . We discovered the three contracts we already had were not consistent in pricing . Each contract was higher prices . Our relative had them gut all the work they had been doing out because it was ALL done wrong . They finally did the work correctly.
