I picked up some napkins for an upcoming party and the boy scored a handmade hand puppet for friends of ours who are expecting. We weren't looking for anything when we walked in, but this would be a hard store to leave empty-handed. There's seriously bound to be something for everyone inside. We hit them right towards closing, so we were the only customers inside, but the three women who were working seemed friendly -- one was super helpful when I was searching for additional napkin sets. I received this gift from a friend as condolences of the death of my lovely mother. They tried to deliver on Wednesday June 6 but we weren't home. We called them that evening and they said they would deliver it the next day. We asked and were told they would make a new one for us for the next day. We called them around noon the next day to see when they would arrive and were told it was out for delivery. Finally around 1:45PM it came. We put it in the fridge because we had to head to the funeral home. That evening when we got home we opened it and the first thing we saw was a moldy strawberry. The pineapple was brownish looking also. Obviously they brought the 2 day old arrangement to us. When you are the seller of perishable food you would think you'd call to set up a delivery time because time is of the essence. This arrangement was a huge disappointment. When people saw the moldy strawberry they wouldn't try any of it. The whole arrangement was discarded I tried to email the store but your web site didn't recognize the order number from the tag. I called and left a message asking somebody to call me the next day but that didn't happen either. Needless to say I won't purchase anything from this establishment in the future and give them the thumbs down rating.

I have been receiving flowers from the hubby from Royer's for 14 years and have often bought…read moreflowers here for various events; funerals, recitals, new baby etc. While I found the arrangements I received to be very ordinary and uninspiring in design I always found the quality to be exceptional. In all I have only had to have 2 arrangements replaced over the years due to quality issues. While visiting the store I have found arrangements that were unique, as well on their website so the lack of creativity could be a result of how or what hubby orders. The majority of the arrangements I received from him would not be something I would pick for myself, but for lack of hurting his feelings I just go with the flow. I have patronized other flower shops - independent smaller retails establishments - and while I liked their designs and pricing better I always come back to Royer's for their convenient locations and vast delivery area. Most of the time they are able to get their deliveries out during the preferred time slot but not always. But do feel their prices are high for what you get. With that being said the roses I received yesterday for Valentine's Day are very disappointing. Their delivery was after the cut off time and hubby expressed some disappointment in how his calls were handled to find out if they would be delivered on time. Upon removing the plastic several leaves fell off and one of the rose buds were cut off - a clean cut like shears - and obviously something that occurred during the arrangement process. Some of the leaves of the rose buds are browned and the open petals dry. These roses were either seconds or bottom of the bunch in both quality and color. The worst offense is the hideous color scheme. Knowing that hubby sometimes doesn't have the best taste level I inquired if he specifically asked for these colors when I called to have the quality concerns addressed. Apparently he requested the standard "mixed colored roses" and they sent what color scheme they prepared that day. An awful mix of a pale pink, bright McDonald's M yellow, and the worst color possible for roses; a pale yellow with a greenish tint reminiscent of an unripe banana. Not only do these colors not work together it was Valentine's Day and while I sometimes question the hubby's taste level I am definitely questioning the taste/skill level of the designer who thought up this horrible medley and worse thought it was appropriate for Valentine's Day. Where I do give kudos is the to efficient customer service - who not only addressed my concerns about the quality and offered a replacement, understood my opinion on the colors, and offered to have the replacement done in a more tasteful design. I have confidence that this second arrangement, currently in transit will be more to my liking and better condition.
