They then sent me a text that said I would get my contract soon, but since I had no security and my event was last minute, I kept looking for other bands. I received a contract from another band and I booked them first. (I never receive a contract from this band) I contacted Patron less than 24 hrs after I sent my deposit and explained that I had to go with first band that gave me a contract. I was told the deposit was non refundable. I tried to explain my situation and told them that I felt they could have not have lost any potential customers in only 24 hrs and that I felt that someone with good customer service could make an exception. I never got another response to my texts. Be cautious while booking. They have NO customer service!

The music was fun and interesting but the dancing.....oh, the dancing!!! Afrobeats, uplifting and lively! The kind of dancing that puts a big smile on your face. The actors of Fela are very talented and held the audience's attention through every number. I was especially impressed with the woman who played Fela's mother. Her strong voice was at times haunting but always beautiful. The lead actor who played Fela involved the audience with some dancing, clapping and several "yeah, yeah"s. So much fun!! It was fantastic to have Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child as part of the cast. A special shout-out to our Yelp CM Bella for scoring a few free tickets to this fabulous show. Even without the complimentary tickets, I am looking forward to many more UAPresents productions!

I dislike leaving bad reviews but would dislike more for anyone to think SOR is a legit business. There were some nice teachers working for SOR, but in the brief period I paid willingly for lessons from them the business was a mess. No website, no email, occasional and sometimes incomprehensible phone communication and texting. Drum and Drummer which SOR bought a few years ago were a great business, and most of the good reviews on this page are for Drum and Drummer.
