Because I had read some eloquent and convincing literature on the philosophy of Dr. Rolf, my skepticism was tabled and I let my curiosity get the best of me. Discovering Brian let me get the best of my curiosity, as well. Each of my sessions with Brian was part of a symbiotic learning process; he encouraged me to learn as much as I could about my moving body and I felt that he was actively involved in learning more about the body through his experience with my particular body. I always left his studio feeling empowered within my body and pushed to learn more about it, do more with it, take more care of it. I came to Brian looking to get rid of some tightness in my upper back, as well as some limited mobility and pain in my lower left back. Brian was a great resource from the start of session 1-- not only in terms of providing measurable relief through his bodywork on a weekly basis, but also in terms of helping me to understand areas of weakness in my posture. After a few sessions, Brian helped to educate me on easy ways I could improve stability and balance on a daily basis--recommendations included yoga stretches, self-massage tools, and even a new vertical mouse to ease tension on my back! After just a few sessions, the giant knot in my back that had been there for years was gone, and I could see a measurable difference in how my body felt after working out-- I had more mobility, as well as awareness as to how I could avoid falling back into old routines. After my 10 sessions, I can honestly say that many of my residue body aches and pains are no longer with me-- plus I learned how to prevent them from returning! I'm so happy I decided to check Brian out-- he's got a great personality, is fun and easy to work with, and one of the best holistic body work professionals I have ever met.

So what started from a Google search in my area, I began to read several blushing Google reviews which peeked my interest and next thing I know I was scheduling my first of many future appointments. Spoiler Alert ! I'm soooooooo glad I did! I began to described to Dr. Rubin about how I suffered from lower back and neck pain after a auto accident from a few years back and right from the first session, I've felt immediately results. Thats when I knew he was the real deal. I have nothing but trust and confidence in his abilities and techniques. He himself, his assistants and staff are all very polite and extremely professional. I can confirm Dr. Paul Rubin y'all, is the best Chiropractor in Philly. Period.

He tailor's treatment based on what the patient communicates, both verbally and physically, instead of telling them or treating them with what he exclusively believes they need. He is warm, kind, thoughtful, and caring. It's like visiting a friend when you're treated by Dr. Jamieson. He doesn't rush through the adjustment. He takes his time, and he is thorough. He also treated my child, whose muscle stiffness/tightness improved significantly from his adjustments. He also takes insurance, which helps mitigate the cost of treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Jamieson for anyone in Center City wanting a chiropractor who knows his craft, is both confident and humble, knowledgeable and experienced!

I recognized my back and neck pain were increasing to the point that I no longer could ignore it. Once I called I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly, they helped explain the costs upfront ($80 for initial 45 minute appt, and $40 for 15 minute adjustment appts thereafter). Considering it's convenience to my house, and that my insurance would probably make me pay $50/visit elsewhere, I felt this was very fair and I'm glad I chose Dr. Wilson.

The best part is the relaxation point Jason uses which brings you to a state of calm and you can zone out for a few minutes. Ok, let's take this way back. Seven years ago I had never been to a chiropractor and was actually…read morescared to see one. For some reason I didn't like the "cracking" sound. However, I was experiencing immense neck pain at the time and was at my limit--I would've done anything to make the pain go away and go away for good. My cousin suggested Dr. Chris to me and after that very first visit, I had fallen in love with chiropractic care and continue to go to Balance for both my injuries and preventative care. Dr. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable. He'll answer every question I have and never makes me feel rushed. Some visits, I don't even mention what areas are bothering me, but it always seems like as soon as I get on the table he finds the exact spot that's causing the trouble. The location has also been very convenient no matter where I lived. It's right near Rittenhouse Sq and there's tons of public transportation options. I work near by and so quick lunch appointments are a plus. Several occasions I've stopped by without an appointment, and they always squeeze me in. Sometimes I'll have to wait a few minutes to be seen, but it's worth it--plus who doesn't expect some kind of wait for a doctor's appointment? I'd much rather wait 10 mins for an adjustment and feel instant relief than wait 45 mins at my primary for them to tell me there's nothing they can do about my neck pain. Over the years, I've also taken advantage of the monthly sales they've had to offer. I've had massages with Kathy, Steven, and Jeannille. These three therapists all have different styles, but every massage I've had has been fantastic. I wouldn't consider Balance to have a "spa-like" atmosphere, but I would much rather get a massage here than anywhere else as they are focused not only on relaxation, but also and more importantly, on healing. Ok so maybe I've raving about this place because I've been coming here for seven years, but then again I wouldn't have been coming here for seven years if there was nothing to rave about.
