For reasons unclear to us, we were sent a letter saying that he no longer wished to be our dentist. The staff was rude to us as well. It was devistating to us. It even included my husband's mom and our children and sister in-law. We were in search of a new dentist that would also accept our insurance! Dr. Hilgers office was glad to have us as patience. His secretary, at the time, made us feel wanted and helped us with the rejection from our previous dentist. Moreover, My husband and I are confident in Dr. Hilgers expertise and also find him to be kind and amiable. While he is a respected dentist he also takes the time to be personable and caring. I would recommend Dr. Hilgers to anyone!

This last appt she was getting 3 teeth extracted and she was so scared I didn't think she was going to go through with it. Dr Heckert noticed what was going on and told my daughter to just come back and breath some of the gas and then decide.. that was genius! After breathing in some of the gas I could see the fear melt off her face and she smiled, which was a HUGE relief to see. They had her put headphones on and watch k pop demon hunters, they put numbing cream on her before giving her shots so she didn't even know it was happening I couldnt believe it! They extracted all 3 teeth no problem and she left in good spirits! I can't thank dr Heckert an his team enough, everyone is so kind and pleasant and we will continue going to them for many years to come!

It was very apparent that Dr. Elloway truly cared about the well being and comfort of my daughter. They instantly put her at ease and were very sensitive to her extra needs due to her Autism. My toddler didn't cry, didn't whine or complain. She just watched some crappy Barbie movie that Nikki picked out especially for her and loved every minute of her dental appointment. Dr. Elloway, while not fun like Nikki, was informative and thorough. Nikki was right with Dr. Elloway the whole time, so my daughter was totally comfortable with the new hands in her mouth. Finally, my toddler got x-rays done by another young lady there and she was great too! She made sure my daughter was comfortable and not scared. After our appointment, the receptionist had gone to lunch, so the x-Ray tech got my daughter all the fun swag she could find and with such enthusiasm. That was clearly not her job (she had too look around for a second to find the good stuff) but she told me, " Oh this is important! We want her to love it here and want to come back." After multiple unsuccessful attempts getting in touch with other dentists in the area, I was finally able to connect with Dr. Tim who agreed to see me on very short notice the next day! Not only that, but he fixed the chip and touched up the tooth to the point that the tooth actually looked BETTER than it had before! Dr. Tim has got to be the nicest, most personable dentist I've ever met. I have a lot anxiety going to dentist's offices (mostly due to my fear of needles) and he went very far out of his way to make me feel comfortable prior to getting my filling. He was getting increasingly upset and so I stopped her and told her that we need his cooperation otherwise it won't work out. She talked to me like I was an idiot, told me that she can't do anything if she can't get in his mouth. I'm well aware of that, thanks, but you have to gain his cooperation. During all of this his lip had a tiny blood spot and she said something about his lips being dry. I felt that she minimized his feelings, my feelings, her actions; and she was perfectly okay with forcing him a second time until he was so upset that I burst into tears and told her to stop and apologized to my son and told him we were all done. During all of this I reminded her of his special needs, to which she replied that she remembered. I should not have to explain my child's special needs AGAIN while he's in a dental chair crying, just to try and get the dentist to handle him with care. I felt rushed, I felt as though she wasn't flexible and didn't attempt to remedy the situation or make my son feel safe in her office. The fact that she felt comfortable forcing him, in and of itself, made me decide to take my child elsewhere in the future.

We have been to multiple dentists due to my daughter's Severe Autism and have had very poor experiences with other dentists. But this office was different. Not only were they knowledgeable about special needs, but they were also genuinely concerned about my daughter's well being and were more than willing to accommodate her extra needs. Above all, she received excellent and professional treatment when they did her dental procedures while under sedation. I am fully confident that my daughter is in excellent hands with Dr. Elloway. We have finally found a dentist who is not only experienced, gentle and knowledgeable with special needs children, but also provides the very best dental Care!

I have only experienced seconds of pain with his injections, and have complimented him on his level of skil in doing them. He is always up on latest approaches and options; he has always been attentive, kind, and generous to me. A highly skilled endodontist in our area recommended him to me. His staff is caring and kind, and all take a personal interest in the patients. "Joan," who is the secretary and biller, has always gone out of her (busy) way in to get me in as soon as is possible. All of the billing has always been prompt and computed accurately; all charges have always been correct. I am loyal to them in part because of the way the superior patient care she has provided. I came on "Yelp" today to find his phone number in order to make an appointment. When I read the review by "Keeley", I was surprised; it sounded like it had to be about the office of some other dentist, and I felt moved to tell my experience.
