We went to see doctor Conwell and she is very patient and did all the checking. We found out the fbroid has growing quite a bit. Fortunately we see Dr. Conwell on time. She is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains everything. After suffering two miscarriages, she successfully helped me maintain my third pregnancy! She didn't mess around and wait until I had a third miscarriage (like some doc's) to see what could be a possible cause. He immediately did x-rays and started conservative treatments of a walking boot and rest. After following the conservative protocol, I returned to running and did several more ultra-races. When the pain kept returning and affected my training and racing, Dr. Proehl ordered an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. Since Dr. Proehl is also a runner, he knew how important the sport is to me and really wanted to see me enjoy the sport again. So, after receiving the MRI results he recommended surgery to clean out the diseased tendon and repair the partially torn tendon using an Arthrex SpeedBridge for attachment to the heel. During the whole process he was understanding, informative, clearly kept up with the latest methods and medications, had my best interests in mind, and was always available for my questions. I had my second post-op appointment with him about 3 weeks after my surgery and I couldn't be happier with my progress. He and I are both extremely optimistic on the outcome and I am even starting to plan my race schedule for the fall, which may include a 100 mile endurance run 6 months after surgery.

I agree with the above reviewer…read more Dr. Jim Rong Hur is one of the most egotistical and verbally abusive doctors I have ever encountered. My primary was not available when I gave birth to my daughter. Dr. Hur was on duty, and was verbally abusive to me when my husband was out of the room because HE didn't know my medical history, despite the fact that: 1) He had seen me at his practice when my primary wasn't available 2) I brought my medical records WITH ME to the hospital As if it wasn't enough to berate a woman going through labor, he came back the next morning to complain more! Because of his horrible doctoring skills, I have memories of a traumatic birth instead of a beautiful event including my daughter. This required therapy and my therapist recommended I report him to the medical board. The ONLY reason that I'm not filing a complaint against him is that my primary doctor works for him. RUN, don't walk, away from this sad little man and his excuse for medical skills in our community.

She said he was a good doctor IF you have no issues. She was totally right on because Dr Hur was fine until I had complications during my pregnancy and another incident with my overies. I want a doctor that can handle anything so Dr Hur didn't work out for me. I recently switched to Dr Levine and her office is just half a mile from Dr Hur! She is wonderful and have complete confidence she can handle anything. Be on the safe side and do not use Dr Hur.

My due date is just a couple weeks away and I have a doula who will be attending the birth and he was very open and supporting the plan. He is gentle and has great bedside manners. My husband enjoys talking to him as well about the pregnancy and what to expect in the next couple of weeks. The best part is the doulas (Luma Doulas) we hired really like him and was thrilled that he was going to be taking over for the rest of my pregnancy. They stated that he is very hands off and allows the mom to make full decisions without being pushy. If you are wanting to try an un-medicated labor with doulas for your labor and would like a physician that is understanding and accommodating he is absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I are not crunchy but for our labor experience we wanted to make sure it was smooth and as stress-free as possible. I am open to medication and allowing Dr. Tiglao to guide me when it is medically necessary, but to be able to experience and at least try my best without the use of pain meds is my initial goal! Will do an updated review for Good Samaritan once we deliver! Don't hesitate to give Dr. Tiglao a call the Los Olivos Group has been a great experience for us as first time parents.

My symptoms were severe and fairly debilitating. He acted with urgency and, over the next year, showed an unparalleled level of persistence in dealing with extremely frustrating insurance companies and specialty pharmacies to get approval for medications to keep me healthy.
