Since we were in between insurances, I went with a dr. who could see her the day I called and who also had an x-ray machine in the office. Dr. Tuch's office was perfect. The Dr. was great, his office staff was polite, and it was convenient since he could x-ray my daughter's arm right then and then again in a week to make sure it was healing properly. After a month, she got the cast off and was good as new! He took another x-ray, gave me and my kids a little lesson about how bones regrow, and his nurse tolerated a crowd watching the removal of the cast. Of course, without insurance it wasn't exactly cheap, but it seemed reasonable enough. I would definitely go back to Dr. Tuch should the need arise. On another note, when my toddler recently fell and fractured her shin bone, I called Dr. Tuch's office to see if they could see her. The Dr. wasn't in that day, so they recommended a different Dr., who is just starting out. I thought that was kind and professional.

The first time I fell and had to have a partial hip replacement, which got infected, and the secondary one was to fix that. I was in a convalescent hospital for close to 3 months because of the infection. I have tried to see him to explain how it still hurts but all I am told by his office is to get an X-ray from an orthopedist before he will see me, but no names of anyone to see.
