My experiences with this practice are dismal. My challenges include:…read more1. Charge disputes: on two occasions I was charged for strapping. The first time, I did not request it, was not advised there would be a charge and as it lasted only a few hours, served no purpose. I called and spoke with the receptionist about it twice. The same bill was sent again so I deducted the disputed amount from my payment and included an explanation. The second instance happened in July. There was no strapping done. 2. Follow up: In addition to not receiving calls back regarding billing questions, I waited 2 months past the estimated date my shoe inserts were to have arrived last year. When I rang to inquire about them, I was told that had just arrived that day. Really? After each of my three visits, I was to have received a follow up call regarding items that came up during my consultation. In each instance, I waited over a week before calling the receptionist ask for a call back. No calls have ever been returned. 3. Insurance billing: I updated my insurance information at my last visit. The bill was incorrectly submitted to my previous insurance company. Upon receipt of the insurance company's notice, I rang the office and was told they had 'just' resubmitted it to the proper company that morning. Again; really? We'll see how that goes. My initial 2 visits were with Dr. Lerman. Due to his lack of responsiveness, I decided to see Dr. Wilhelm on my last visit as one of the issues with my feet has gotten worse. He did not agree with the diagnosis Dr. Lerman had given me. When I asked for insights as to why Dr. Lerman's diagnosis may have been incorrect, he brushed me off. I also inquired about having another type of shoe insert made. He didn't know what the options were and said he'd find out and call me. That visit was July 16. No call. I rang last week to follow up.....no return call. I hope to find a more responsive practice soon

From thorough recommendations before running a marathon to foot surgery, I'm comforted knowing that I am always in great hands. I have a very busy schedule and hate to waste time so the efficiency and intelligence of the front desk staff is very important to me. I love how quickly things flow in the office...I never have to wait very long when I have an appointment and there is always someone who can answer any questions that I have when I call. As for my surgery: The process couldn't have gone smoother. Each person on the staff, from the nurses to the anesthesiologist, were so friendly and made me feel relaxed throughout the process. In fact, I enjoyed them so much I was kind of sad when the surgery was over since we were having such a fun time chatting. She explained all parts of procedures and why the recurrence could be happening. It's also confusing because their online statement or portal information will not tell you which appointment costs how much. While the doctor tried her best to be friendly, I realize she was actually super tight on time and at one point, she was going to cut my nail plate open even if I did not happen to feel the numbing effects on my toe yet And quite honestly I was totally traumatized after that. Her justification was she already tried twice!! Thank god my toe was finally numbed by the time she counted 5 minutes after my last shot. She said she would wait 5 minutes but she actually only waited 4. Needless to say I was sweating profusely by the end of the appointment that my pants were drenched. In addition to these injuries and ailments, Dr. Pursnani recommended calf and heel cord stretches when I was dealing with heel pain after working out. I had been stretching post workout and she recommended pre-workout routine after a short warm up. I enjoy an active lifestyle. In the past these foot ailments have been roadblocks. I had exrays before but they don't show all. I glad I got an MRI it showed much more than an exray. I had damage to parts of my foot that needed attention right away. I took there recommendations and on my way to heal my foot and ankle. I am now 4 weeks out from my accident and my swelling is much better and the pain is tolerable.
