After waiting for a while, I stepped outside to check on my family, who were eating ramen next door, and explained that my order was taking longer than expected. I went back inside, and by then it was already more than 10 minutes past the promised pickup time. I continued waiting until an employee finally asked if I was waiting for an order. When I showed her my online order, she told me she had been trying to call me. I had been watching my phone the entire time and had no missed calls. What bothered me most was her attitude afterward--she seemed like she simply didn't care that I had been standing there waiting. At that point, I had been waiting approximately 20 minutes, so I asked for the order to be canceled and the money refunded to my credit card. I order here all the time and normally enjoy the drinks, which is why this was especially frustrating. I understand that new employees need time to learn, but they also need proper training on online orders, communication, and customer service. Regular customers shouldn't be left standing around while their order is apparently ready without anyone making a reasonable effort to let them know.
