He offered us a $200 refund on a $1300 order. Instead of offering good customer service, he just wanted to move past his mistake and not fix it. I've given the owner at least one month to fix the situation, but he has not responded or tried to fix his mistake. Very unsatisfied and regretful to order from 1-800-4-blinds! Buyer beware!

I feel like they just don't want to work on a Saturday so say it's not available when it is. I went back to the site and Saturday is still available- so why are we being told it's not? Review might change after consult but at this point I am not happy with this company and we haven't even met them yet.

I had black out blinds in the bedrooms installed and panel blinds in my living room a while ago…read more It was a couple that had brought me the swatches for the honeycomb style blackouts as well as the varieties of colors for the panels too. I picked out 5 track for the panels to have the blinds open up on each side. Once fully closed, they overlap nicely. While open they aren't exactly lined up on either ends. The blackout blinds had to be broken into 2 sections due to the height of the windows, they were 8 feet tall, the solid wasn't ideal but doable. The bigger section from the start would get stuck while trying to close to the ground and will often get stuck about 2-3 inches off the ground. The panels have to be carefully closed or they will bend and fold onto each other as they close over and pass the tracks. The right side must be closed over first and then the left. Sometimes I have to fix them so they don't bend as they go over the previous panels to nicely lay as planned. The panels are a bit more money but they look cool and give a nice shading, but not too much. All told, it was under $5k. The blackouts still leave gaps to the walls and soffits.

Scheduled a deep clean with Fresh space - I have family coming in town and it was my birthday so…read moredidn't feel like spending the whole day cleaning. I also paid the $5 x3 for ceiling fans. I've never had my home "professionally" cleaned before so I didn't know what to expect. The cleaner arrived on time, then did a walk thru of the house. She said it would be quick and easy (I do regularly clean but wanted some special attention to things I don't do regularly- floorboards, fans etc) About 20 mins before she was finished she asked me to take a look around. The living room and kitchen were still messy but said she was still working on those. The bathroom lights and cabinets were still covered in dust so I asked her if she could do those, which she did. Once completely finished she asked me to take a look as she was packing up / walking out. I rushed thru quickly and on the surface it looked good so I said thanks and she left. Upon further inspection - NOTHING that was included in the "deep clean" was done aside from the living room floor boards. None of the kitchen or bedroom floor boards were done. She said in the bedrooms she only vacuums and mops cuz "she doesn't want to be in personal spaces". At the end of the day the cleaning ended up being pretty much what I would do when cleaning, nothing seemed like the professional cleaning. Also my fans that I paid extra for are still dirty too. I did reach out to the company and they discounted it but I still way overpaid for this.

I still don't recommend FreshSpace and I stand by my review, because the only cleaning they did was still substandard. Because of the headache and frustration accompanying it, I don't consider the "cleaning" I received to be of good value, even though it was ultimately free. Had I been given a (heavily discounted) opportunity to receive a real cleaning from them, I might have reconsidered based on a second attempt at performing competently. They haven't. So from where I stand, this company failed to do what I paid them for -- and then essentially held my money hostage for 7 months until I initiated contact for a refund.

Later in the year Lisa sent me a text saying 15% off my balance if I paid now and the lights will be up by Thanksgiving. So I paid. Jason came to my house the end of October and turned off my sprinkler system for free because "I'm such an understanding customer". He said he would see me in a few weeks with the lights.
