Great salon! Everyone was friendly and and a great Haircut! Matt did a fantastic job! Couldn't have had a better all around experience! Thanks again to everyone at Tryst read more

I would like to say this was the only time I've ever said I loved my haircut and meant it. I got bangs for the first time in a long time and I'm so thrilled with how it turned out. Madisyn did an AMAZING job with my hair and she was beyond polite and was so very sweet as well as professional. It was my first time there and I'll be returning! I really loved the atmosphere and the fact she took her time and was very thorough. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

Tryst Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Boerne, Texas

I went to Tryst salon because it was highly recommended by a bunch of people to me while I was back home from college. I was very disappointed with the service that I received while I was there. My hair dresser was an hour late with no explanation or apology. My hair was up charged without prior notification, because of "the amount of hair I had." I can't recommend this salon because I don't want my friends and family to potentially experience the same things. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. First I would like to start with my horrible "welcome". I made an appointment with Madisyn, who seemed too good to even greet me. When I walked in for my appointment all I got was a little half-a$$ smile before I was told to follow her. I disregarded my first impression of her but as my appointment went on I tried to make small talk but Madisyn acted like she didn't have the time of day.I understand we all have bad days, but when a coworker would talk to her she would answer joyfully and then get back to my hair like it was taking all of her energy to do her job. Then she proceeded to take several little 5 minute breaks to talk poorly about other coworkers with another, who's name i was not able to get. I went in for simple, light highlights that blend with my hair, but instead left with my hair looking patchy and practically two colors to the point where even my husband noticed something looked off. I don't know who gave this girl a license but I was very disappointed especially with her lack of customer service. This was my first time at this salon and unless the owner can assist in employee issues and entitlement, I don't see myself returning. read more

I love TRYST! Matt is a TRUE cut and color professional with a beautiful salon, which he owns and operates with his wife Rosie. I absolutely love the way that he does my hair, the upbeat and positive atmosphere and I'm so grateful they are located in the heart of Boerne! They're the best! read more

Where do I even begin? This salon is Boerne's best kept secret, Madisyn is an absolute doll all of my girlfriends that go to her adore her as well. She was able to fix my hair when I came in with a ton of breakage and brassy highlights not to mention the cute cut she gave me- I get compliments daily! She is one of the the only hairdressers I know that can look at a picture and mirror exactly what you are wanting which is pretty remarkable. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her she truly is the best! read more

Tryst salon is wonderful. Their new salon is so beautiful and fun !! Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Lauren is my stylist and I am very pleased and impressed with her work. Wonderful with both color and cut really takes her time and listens !! Recently changed salons after almost 2 years which is very scary but am over the moon that I did. read more

Matthew Webber used unprofessional and rude verbiage when speaking with a client and did what he wanted when cutting the clients hair instead of doing what the client asked for. Would not recommend Matthew Webber at Tryst Salon. read more

Tryst Salon is absolutely amazing! Especially, my stylist, Lauren! The salon is always very clean and has great music too! Lauren is a miracle worker and did wonders on my color correction! 100% highly recommend this establishment and LAUREN! I have been a loyal Tryst client for 6 years. Matt and Rosie are equally loyal to their clients--you walk out feeling like you just spent time with friends AND your hair looks great. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Lauren has the magic! I've been to several salons in Boerne and always walk away super disappointed and like I got something I didn't ask for or want! She listened to my concerns about going too dark and nailed my color and my cut is perfect! Couldn't be happier! Also, the decor in the salon is fabulous! Couldn't be happier! I'll definitely be back! read more

I made an appointment for a color and a cut, well in advance. Due to living in a different city, I even called to confirm since I would only be in town for a couple of days. I show up for my appointment and told I was only down for a cut, no color. I clarified I booked and called ahead of time, however, I was told there was no time and they did not offer any alternative accommodation for THEIR mistake. Additionally, as I asked to try to make it work, I did question if the appointment following mine could be pushed back a little, but was told "no, she is older therefore cannot be changed" (I am 22 years old, but I look very young). I felt like I was being treated very disrespectfully due to my age and felt very embarrassed. I will not name the stylist, but other stylists were just watching and not stepping in. Overall, I will not be going back due to the treatment I received. read more

If you are looking for a great salon in Boerne, this is the place. Tryst is an upscale professional salon with many great hair stylists. I have been going to Lauren for awhile now and every time I leave with a beautiful cut and my color always looks great. Lauren really listens so that she can deliver on your vision. I highly recommend this place and Lauren! read more

I have been going to Tryst Salon for over 2 years and see Anne Trimmier. On my last visit in July, I showed Anne a video my daughter took of my haircut by a stylist in L.A. so Anne could duplicate it. The cut came out very nice. Today I called to schedule another appointment and was told the by owner, Sharon, that they could no longer schedule any appointments for me at the salon. Shocked, I asked why. She said because of the "tutorial" video I showed Anne, who evidently was pissed that a client would actually tell a stylist how they wanted their hair cut. I asked to speak with Anne and was told that would be impossible. I find this salon, and especially Anne, extremely unprofessional!! I would NOT recommend this salon as they clearly are not loyal to their clients. If Anne was offended by someone asking her to duplicate a cut, then she should have said something to me in July rather than having me ambushed with "Anne and no one else in this salon will cut your hair". Unbelievable Tryst Salon AND ANNE! SO DISAPPOINTING! I will NEVER recommend this salon to anyone! read more

Do you want to look your best, then this is the place to be. Matt & Rosie are awesome. Some of us have hair challenges and they manage to work with those and make you look great. Others in our office, have awesome hair and they look fabulous all the time thanks to Matt & Rosie. You know your stylist is the one when everyone asks you "who does your hair" even complete strangers. read more

Find another salon if you value your time. This is the 2nd time I've showed up for an appt. only to learn my stylist was out. This last time I wasn't even on the books. I had watched my stylist write both my appointments down more than 6 weeks ago. Very disappointing! Most often their customer service is good, as long as there are no hiccups the Salon is not prepared for. Perhaps they should have done some more planning before they made their move. I was offered another appt. but several days away. My time is just as important as their's. HELLO, I do have other commitments. It's a shame they do not value their customers time more. Stylists are good from what I can tell, pricing is on the high side of average. I would not recommend based solely on missed appointments. I would look for a more dependable Salon. read more

I found Tryst Salon and Amy Sleep through the posts on Yelp. Amy is professional, polite, attentive and an artist. When one finds a good stylist, and they're hard to find, one sticks with them and trusts them to make you look good. Amy does all that and more. read more

I can't speak highly enough about this salon, and particularly Amy Sleep! From the moment I walked in it was super comfortable and friendly and the moment I told Amy what I wanted, I knew I was in good hands. She completely understood my vision and I felt like I could completely trust her expertise. I left with a really beautiful but edgy and cool hair style that I've been getting compliments on ever since! Thanks!!! read more

I've been going to the salon for year a couple of occasions where I've had to cancel but I've always paid their 50% cancellation fee which I do feels a little extreme. Things happen that are out of our control. I had to cancel an appointment that I had due to some family issues that were out of my control I was quickly call back by the owner letting me know that the stylist Ann Said that if I cancel again I'll be on a one on one basis. I found I found this to be very disturbing considering I had just got through paying the 50% fee and then I'm getting called right back by an owner relaying a message from the stylist. So the owner went back to ANN And relayed my message now mind you I am so upset with myself and my situation that I'm literally in tears. Within less than 15 minutes I get a call from ANN the stylist letting me know that she does not wanna cut my hair any longer and as I try to intervene in the conversation she raised her voice in a very aggressive manner and said you're not going to win this fight Kim. I was shocked I have never in my life been talk to like this especially in a business since. I wasn't arguing with her at all she was very agitated and already pissed off when she called me because she was very aggressive with me over the phone very direct almost like she was punishing me. If it was true that the owner was standing right beside her once again and they allow their employees to talk to customers this way is totally beyond me. There would be a totally different way that they could've gone about this which to me was not as big of a deal as they're making it to be it was just crazy this place is totally unprofessional their employees are unprofessional and the owners back them up. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this place if you can't hold yourself with class then you probably should shut your business down. Boerne is a small town things will get around and there's not that many stylists and Boerne. read more
