I have been to Southwest Podiatry once-during March-pre DC stay-at-home. I paid my co-pay before I…read moresaw the physician; soon thereafter is when the "Payment Due" reminders started coming (e.g. mail, call, SMS, e-mail). In March & April I spoke to a Southwest Podiatry representative, she assured me during the 2nd and 3rd calls that this issue was resolved-I did not owe money-that it was a system error. Since May, of the 5 times that I have called them, I left voice-messages 4 times for them to call me back. On their patient-portal there is no phone-number available, so I continue to call their office. The most annoying is that they robocall, I will answer, but their algorithm has no way for me to speak/connect to a representative. Please assist me or at least leave me alone

I've called on random days and times for about two weeks and have yet to get an answer. I left a voice mail message last week and have yet to receive a follow up call. I'm not sure if they are that busy but if they are I guess they don't need any more business. Their voice mail should say, "Hello, sorry we have all the business that we need so we are not taking any more patients. Please don't call back." At this point I don't plan on visiting the office but had planned on becoming a loyal patient, I wouldn't dare wasting my time going there. If this is in fact the staffs fault that phones aren't being answered and messages aren't being returned, they should be fired and the doctor should start anew.

Dr. Ahmad gave me confidence from the first visit that he could help me. He was very attentive during all of my visits, to every detail I gave him about my condition. He gave me a trial pair of makeshift orthotics to make sure that they were a viable solution for my pain, instead of pushing me towards purchasing expensive ones as other doctors had done before. On top of being extremely knowledge and professional, Dr. Ahmad excels at taking into account the psychological and emotional toll of pain on his patients. I feel very fortunate to have found his office, which has led me the close to recovery.

Dr. Ahmad is outstanding, absolutely one of the best. He was engaged on each visit and established my trust early on. He provided options for treatment so we could pursue all possible avenues to address the plantar fasciitis. After several months, the pain was going away, and I am well on the path to recovery. Importantly, Dr. Ahmad reassured me throughout that the lengthy recovery time was normal, which encouraged me to be patient and worry less. This was completely different from the dismissive, condescending attitude of my previous physician. Today, I'm experiencing vastly improved ankle strength and mobility with very little pain. So he was correct that surgery was unlikely, and that he was optimistic that the treatments would help (none of which were suggested my prior doctor). I am convinced that my recovery is in great part a result of Dr. Ahmad's treatment, and I also began feeling much more positive since I started seeing him, which was crucial to helping me get through my injury. This is the podiatrist you need to see.
