He put staples and screws in my foot, which I never knew until months later. I never saw any x-rays during the whole process. The surgery he did is so bad that my foot has been swollen for 9 months and is not healing properly. There is a second bunion on my small toe that he never took care of as well. This is almost one year and I will have to go through the whole process again, painful surgery, and off my foot for 4-6 weeks. I found him very pompous & cavalier, caring more for his ego than the recovery of the patient!

I told him that I power-walked 4-5 miles every day and he told me to "continue doing what you're doing"! Two months and $500 later, my burning sensation had not improved. So he decided to send me for an MRI only to find out I did not have tendinitis after all, but rather a stress fracture which I had most probably made worse by "continuing to do what I was doing". I ended up with a boot for 4 weeks after which I scheduled a follow up MRI for myself! His nurse has no apparent knowledge of what she's doing and the Office Manager tries to hold back information so patients can't submit for insurance. Overall terrible experience.

My visit was last Friday, and three days later, Yolanda calls me with test results. I missed her call on Monday afternoon and called her the next morning. She quickly went over the urine and blood sample results. When we talked about the results, she said she would have the results mailed to me. Now, not even a week later, the office has called to give me a run down of results, gave me a clean bill of health, and I have already received the results in the mail! This gets them five stars even though my initial calls to make an appointment had me slightly concerned (the person wasn't entirely sure whether the one and only payer Dr. Bonn works with was PPO or HMO). The group was one of the nicer front offices I've dealt with at providers and getting an appointment (I think within a month) was reasonable to me.

When I was diagnosed with a fairly severe case of osteoarthritis in my right knee, I consulted with Dr. Rome about how custom inserts could help alleviate pressure on my knee. I went back today to have casts made of my feet, to be sent to the company that will manufacture the inserts. During that process, we also talked about the fact that my left leg is longer than my right--knowing that means the inserts can be even more customized than originally planned. What great service and advice! Dr. Rome is also very laid-back and funny. He always has me laughing. He's the only doctor who doesn't make me nervous! LOL I recommend him unconditionally.

I showed the link that I received for the appointment that directed me to complete intake forms and was still told I had to reschedule! ! I took PTO because appointments are during business hours And working people/patients Work during business hours! There was no introduction to the physician not even to see if there's something that may have been or could've been quickly and reschedule for full exam, all that I heard from the back was no and reschedule !If I could give My experience a zero I would and would not recommend to anyone! I would recommend anyone who is looking to consider Capital Womens Care!
