My father became bedridden and was at a nursing facility. He never really got his estate in order until "too late". By the time the discussion of getting his finances settled began, he was already very weak and barely able to hold a pen, let alone use a mouse and keyboard to do anything on his own. We learned he never completed a living trust, and so it looked like it might not happen. We would need someone who would be willing to actually go to a nursing facility and to be patient to sit down and talk with him, who was very weak and could only mostly answer yes and no questions. He was only able to stay awake and pay attention for a couple minutes at a time so we knew it wouldn't be easy. Took me waaaaaaay too long to get this extraordinarily important 'Revocable Living Trust' done for my kids... With Helen's assistance, it was a dream! She sent me a list of documents and information I needed to compile before our first visit. Her prices were very, very competitive with other 'non attorney' businesses and her office building and parking are excellent! I always ask about TOTAL FEES from companies up front and if you do, you will not be surprised. When having my pages 'Notarized' at the AAA by a guy who does that for a living, he said quote "this is one of the best organized Trust Documents I have ever notarized" end quote. This is a scam. Classic bait and switch. We discuss a price and she gets you on the phone with your info, then DOUBLES THE PRICE. Not even kidding. Of course I meant, "Packet". Almost all Living Trusts are done in packets. And if it wasn't clear, she could've asked or sent me the prices. No. She lures you in with a fair price and then treats you like an idiot while she makes up prices on the phone to change the quoted price. I then explain that it doesn't sit well with me to suddenly change the price. She then laughs under her breath at me and patronizingly explains how I don't know how this works. Isn't that why I was hiring her? Rude! I politely asked to think it over and she sends me this rude response on Yelp. I cannot believe this. I am just so grateful that I didn't hire her just to have her change the price once we started. Don't hire this company! I'm glad I didn't.
