When we started our journey with Chris Brown it was great he was there when we needed him and…read moreanswered all the questions we had. After we came in to sign the paperwork seems like things were turned upside down. Chris became unavailable yes it was due to training classes but when we told him many times we need to speak to him directly he couldn't take a few minutes before or after his training to give us a call. Inside he would text us or push us off on his team Toni or Anne. Through the process with the whole team we asked many times for them to explain something and we kept getting the same song and dance, even one time was told to stop worry everything would be fine. If everything was fine we would be seeing our closing costs going from $3,400's to $3,900 to $4,200 to $4,600 and finally to $5,200's at closing with no details why its increasing. This is my first home its my right to wonder and know the reason for the increase. We were also told that if you paid Debit or check for the Appraisal it would be credited back to you at closing, than weeks later we find that it would only be credited if there was seller credit left at the end. We were also told that the 2nd reappraisal would be collected at the closing and not to worry there is not extra money out of packet. Next time i look at my bank account I am now missing $175 for a reappraisal. My biggest issue about this was it was unauthorized I never gave Toni or Anne or anyone the okay to charge my account a 2nd time and I didn't even have a warning. When i brought this us to Toni it was just a sorry. When I brought this up to Chris he ended up pushing back to Toni instead of giving me a call to discuss this. Sorry but if one of my employees just broke the law i would make sure i call the person right away not text them. There were many other lies from Toni and Anne as well. Little things like saying an Appraisal was submit 1 day than find it wasn't submit until the following when we were trying to get the 3rd appraisal in so we might of had a chance to close on time. Little things like being told that FEMA and HUD just now released the lock for Appraisals than finding out from the same person later that same day it was released the day before. For these reason and many more I would never use Chris or his team again. I would not refer anyone to Chris. Yes the work was completed, Yes it was a week late, but when with a week extra we still found ourselves 30 minutes before closing searching for answers that we have been asking about for weeks.

Absolutely worst experience and process I have ever been through. Mostly mad at myself as I had…read moremultiple alternate offers, but went with these guys because I was stressed out about the timeline. "Guaranteed to close in 30 days" i was told. I am not a rookie at this either. I have multiple houses and loans initiated through brokers, Wells Fargo, Credit Unions, and these guys are the worst. The worst part of the process was the decrease in contact as problems started. They took me to the point of financing contingency removal with written and verbal commitment that there were no problems, then it all started. I had a $12,000 ernest money risk that was ALL MINE to stress about. Contacted an attorney to find out the loan guys have no responsibility to deliver on their commitments. We started this house buying nightmare in the beginning of March with Anthony. We had been told to download the app and "your info will be updated in that", well here it is two months later, loan is in underwriting and that app is still not updated. We've had to make ALL the phone calls to find out any information regarding all aspects of our loan. Our closing, which has been now pushed back three times, is STILL NO CLOSER to an end. We have paid for services that NEVER transpired. They have tried to push us into a higher cost loan type, I'm not talking about interest rates either, BUT the loan it's self and then when we refused it's been quite apparent that the only people they have put on our contract are incompetent, pocket lining, non-personable "experts" that could care less about their customer's needs. We have waited for days now to hear back from someone in a "higher-up management position, I heard his name was Robert and Vance" to file a complaint. Many of the people that WE were supposed to contact to get things accomplished like the survey. Again we had to call never once an answer or would they pick up the phone plus we had to pay for out of pocket which we had an initial quote in our contract and then the price jumped to double the quoted price. Here it is now second week in May, now after Approved has had the appraisal for a month we are now being told the house is not financeable. So unless we go with a rehab loan which means that we would have to finance more money they will not help us. Not sure what they have done for us but have us spend money to do this and to do that. So we are probably not going to get this house and also we are out a heap of money jumping through hoops. We have asked on many occasions how much we were approved for and the answer has been "don't worry about it, we will figure this out when we figure out what loan product to put you in". Avoid using this company at all costs they if they actually get you financed they will have you do all the work and reap the rewards......Just think, all of this could of been avoided, but we were talked out of paying cash for the home of our dreams because Anthony wanted to "save us time from working on it" and now due to the current state of the world (Covid-19) that option is not available.
