I've been living in this area for about a year now. I've also been searching for a good barber since I moved here. Today, in Trust Thy Barber, and in one of their professional barbers named "CJ", I think I found my new "go-to" barbershop, and my new barber! I typically get my haircut every few weeks. CJ gave me the absolute best haircut I've had since moving here a year ago! I highly recommend Trust Thy Barber...based on my experience there today, it's obvious that they take care to employ only the most conscientious and professional hair cutting specialists! read more

CJ is always great, that's why we keep coming back. Not only is he a very skilled barber but also respectful and engaging with my kids. Never have to wait and takes his time to get the perfect cut and style. Laid back, inviting, fun place to be. read more

CJ did a terrific job on my hair and beard. He is as good as the other reviews say. I'll go back.

Great barbershop. They aren't ridiculously priced and they give top notch haircuts. This will be my spot for a long time and I couldn't recommend it any more than I do. Gio was awesome and he's a nice guy and great barber. Really good at cutting curly hair. Very quiet spot too and the guys are easy to talk to. read more

I have been a customer here for about one year, have had nothing positive experiences here. It is definitely an "eclectic " place of business with interesting decor. The barber that I see is dedicated to her craft, with attention to detail, and a strong sense dedication and getting it right. Lastly the customer service and the overall experience has always been fine read more

Joe was fantastic, just moved to the area and found my new barber. Amazing shop and experience.

Great barber shop. The cleanest one I've ever seen. Atmosphere was inviting to all ages. Kate was listed as an apprentice but her work was master barber level. Honestly the best haircut I've had in 10 years. The hot towel and nose wax were excellent upgrades. read more

Great cut at a great price. It's always tricky to get a great first cut but CJ saved the day!! I loved the whole vibe of the place and the staff took really good care of those waiting. I would def jump on their site to book an appointment in advance. But they will also work you in. read more

Great location, great staff. Jessica has been doing my hair for quite a while and is always very professional and willingly takes my lead on how I want my hair cut. Outcome has always been excellent. Thanks. read more

I'm a frequent flyer here at the shop and these guys are professional and it is definitely and old school barber shop feel. Football playing on the TV, conversation and jokes from chair to chair. My barber, Pat, has become a very good friend of mine. The owner, Tommy, runs a great shop. A true asset to the Market Common community. I get a true military grade flat top every time and leave happy. They also offer beard trims, nose waxing, shampoo-hot towel, senior and military discounts. Keep up the great work Tommy, we love your shop. Highly recommended. IT IS ADVISED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. These guys are in high demand. If you want to walk in, you might get lucky, but more than often not. read more

I fell asleep in the chair.. that kinda says it all :) I didnt watch as I closed my eyes to relax , but I dont think any barber has been so meticulous as Gil was. Kinda blew me away. First time here. I just said shorter, but... try not to make me look balder than I am getting. When he was done., it was like not a hair out of place and he was an artist. Anyway... I will be going back for sure read more

This is an amazing place to get on man's haircut and a beard hut is well. They do an amazing fade. The beard well is also pretty good I would highly recommend it. read more

Trust Thy Barber - This is my fresh cut but I had a hat on so my hair is messy. But look at that fade. - Barbers Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Gone here a few times now and they're supper good. Pete's cut my hair every time and he's great. It looks great when he's done. Looks great in the days after. It even grows out great. He's one of the best barbers I've ever gone to! Super sold place and cool vibes. read more

Awesome true barbershop! Barbers are all true craftsman & fun/sociable. Atmosphere is nice & fun.

My first time here. Saw Pete. Very friendly and professional. I will definitely come back.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is so unprofessional and discriminates. My boyfriend came in to get his hair cut and not ONE person could greet him and get him set up. Honestly do better. Terrible staff. read more

Gil has always been doing a wonderful job my boy love to come to the shop to have his hair fixed. They are always busy .... Book online works perfectly for us! read more

Like the other guy said, don't come here if you've got any length to your hair at all, came in and asked for a trim on my shoulder length hair, walked out with it higher than my ears. Genuinely the worst haircut i've ever gotten. Don't recommend at all. read more

Pete is truly amazing. I recommend Trust Thy Barber to everyone I know. Of all the cuts I have received in my life, he is the best. There's a great barbershop atmosphere and you can tell these guys have passion for what they do. I went to see Gil once when Pete wasn't available and I received the exact cut I was looking for. I highly recommend him as well. I get quite a few compliments after I get a fresh cut here, it's absolutely worth checking out. read more

First off I have been to multiple barbershops in my lifetime and none compare to Trust Thy Barber. I have been living in Myrtle Beach for about 3 years now and started going here soon after I moved and this is no doubt the best barbershop in all of Myrtle Beach. All the barbers are true craftsman at their job. They can style you up any way you like just let them know how you want it and they will get you looking clean. I personally use Garrett F. And have since they day I moved and he always makes sure to send you on your way looking fresh. He makes sure you money is well spent noticing every little detail. Not to mention he makes your time spent in the shop a good one with his conversations and humor! As long as I live in Myrtle Beach I will be going to Trust Thy Barber! read more

Being like many people in Myrtle Beach (a transplant), I was in the death spiral of going to hair dressers with my wife to avoid a barber with a Z where an S should be. Thankfully, Trust came along and I finally walked in. You take for granted how nice a proper fade and a razor on the neck feels. The place has a great NYC barber feel, no pushy sales pitches or products being shoved into your face. Kris is a fantastic barber. He's thorough, good at judging men's hair, and a good conversationalist. I finally feel like I have a place to go and feel better about how my hair looks when I leave. read more

Want in to schedule a appt and barber told the scheduling the appt to schedule with someone else. Be cause was fan of a team he did not like read more

Sorry unlike your other fanboy posts I have to call it like I see it. You had so many opportunities to text, email or call and cancel. My appt was at 2 pm and you knew all day he wasn't going to be in. Take some accountability!! You use a third party appt app, so easy but you don't care. You also didn't care while we were there. Your response is long and boring and makes you look desperate. You handled it poorly and complaining to me that you have to work late and can't see your family and still not cut our hair, wah wah. Part of being an owner. Hopefully you will handle it better next time. read more

Trust Thy Barber - If they're going to cancel on you don't worry they will never call you or text you you'll show up and get sent home - Barbers Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Looked great, clean and professional. Wasn't able to get my haircut because I didn't have an appointment (my fault) but I will try again the next time I am in town. Can always use a well done traditional barber. read more

Gil did an awesome job on the skin fade. I was rubbing a little late but Gil stayed late to give me the cut. I will definitely be back in a few weeks. Thanks fellas read more

Awesome spot! All of the guys are friendly and professional. I have been there twice and I really liked the final product on both occasions. Good conversation as well. It is my new go to for a haircut. read more

Went 3 times. First time had to come back a day later because he missed some hair. No problem because he took care of it. Came back a second time had same barber and haircut was ok. 3rd time I came they told me the barber had quit and my appt was now with a barber in training which they could have told me when they confirmed my appt but didn't. I don't go to high end barber shops to be practiced on. Did not like the barber or my haircut. Will not be going back. read more

Gil did an awesome job. Great fade and a super nice guy. Don't normally write reviews, but figured I'd throw one out there this time. Thanks again man. read more

Went to the new location in Market Common (Deville Street across from Brass Tap) park in the garage if need be. I have been on a quest to find the perfect barber. And I have to say these 2 guys knock it out of the park. It is a cool barber shop, just hang at or get a quick trim and shave. Walk ins are welcome. read more

Please take in to account here, if you miss an appointment and forget to call you will be charged. The $1.00 deposit to reserve is authorization to charge you the full amount. I had job related issues which caused me to miss my appointment and I didn't get around to calling. I checked my account and I was charged $29 for nothing, plus the $1.00 deposit, plus an international transaction fee. I will never go here again. read more

All around classy joint. Quality cuts and great convo. What more could you ask for? Beer you say? They've got that too.

Love this place and the guys that cut here. Old school feel, no one takes themselves too seriously, all around best place to get a cut. I go to Garrett all the time but you can't go wrong with any of the guys. read more

We have our grandson on vacation with us and he was in desperate need of a haircut. We took him to another salon and they pretty much butchered his hair. I found Trust Thy Barber online and we found our way there and they very courteously worked us in. Chris took care of our grandson and did a phenomenal job! We can take him home to his parents without fear now. Thank you guys for helping us!!! read more

I was in town on business and stopped in for a haircut and I am extremely glad I did. Great spot with a cool vibe. Chris is extremely precise and skilled. Great shop and great group of guys. read more

Top notch environment. It has an old school barbershop feel to it. The owner and barber, Tommy, who cuts my hair kills it every time and I always leave satisfied. If you don't believe in paying for quality this may not be the spot for you but it's my go to 3 times a month. read more
