This place is great. If you want a simple cut or if you're looking for something a little more complicated, they can do it. It reminds me of the barbershops my dad used to take me to when I was a kid. The interior is very neat and very clean and the barbers are extremely nice. Everyone seems to know the customers and the other people here. It's a very casual and friendly environment. Finding a place for a good cut is difficult when you move to a new city. This place is the one and only place I have used. Kevin cuts my hair and he does a great job. read more

Deana set me up with another great haircut. I just love the old style barber shop. It can get busy here but there are a few chairs for waiting. Nice locals shop. Highly recommended. read more

If you want a buzz cut, they'll do. Otherwise, walk on by. Worst haircut I've ever gotten in my life anywhere.

They have 4 or 5 chairs and all of them were in business when I was there. Short wait, great haircut, reasonable price. Nice people there. Reminds me of an old fashioned barber shop with lots of regulars. read more

Was a good visit and clean cut at a fair price and friendly staff, easy to find location.

I had Kevin do my flat top cut. He did a fine job just the way I wanted it. They don't take appointments but you don't wait long either. Nice, friendly group of professionals. It is difficult to get established with a new barber but they made me fell at home right away. read more

Stopped by here last minute while staying with the wife in Myrtle Beach Sc for a vacation (first year wedding anniversary actually). It's a classic barbershop, walk-in style. Swung by about 11am on a Saturday. Got seated right away. Got the hair cut and a beard trim. Lookin great, decent price, friendly staff. Would highly recommend. read more

We stopped in here to get our boys hair cut while on vacation! I gave a very vague description on what I wanted and both cuts turned out great!! They were also very quick, friendly and cleaner than most barbers we've been to! Wish we had a go to place near our actual home!! read more

Been coming to Myrtle Beach for years and always find myself in need of a haircut before i go home...Couldnt ask for a nicer staff or service- in addition to the best haircut consistently every time! Wouldnt go anywhere else and couldnt recommend this palce any higher. Not a whole lot of bells and whistles- but again, great staff, great service- and great price too! This place has been in business for years, through best of times and the worst...and there's a reason for that. Nice to see that the old Myrtle Beach "charm" of the south still exists :-) Dont ever change Enochs! read more

I am a local and can tell you this is the best barber shop in MB. If you need a haircut, this is the place to go. Dont expect frills and a salon, but expect down home friendly Southern folks who know how to cut hair. read more

Most unfriendly barbershop I have ever been at. She did a great beard trim and haircut, cost $20. I left no tip. Because she never spoke one word to me the entire time. In Minnesota I pay $12 for the same thing and I always leave a tip because Barbers there are friendly. I don't expect "Chatty Kathy" type barbers but I do expect a "Hi" and "how are you doing" versus " next","20 bucks" to be our entire conversation. I went to the Captains Chair last time, where they were friendly and I will go back there next time. read more

Outstanding service! Terrific staff. The last of true barber shops. Convenient and good hours.

Great place! Down at Myrtle on vacation and in dire need of a haircut. Walked in and Jr. gave me a great haircut and beard trim. Jr. took his time with me as though I was a regular customer and talked to me like he'd known me forever. read more

Be careful of Kevin. If your from up North or not from the right ethnic group you will get unexpressed hostillity. I've been there maybe 6 or 7 times and always get this cold uneasy sense. He never initiated conversation I realized after awhile. That was My last visit . I thought he is a time bomb ready to explode. WOW this guy is creepy his the long hair and beard even creepier. read more

For a great flat top ask for the older gentleman. Top notch. Same price I pay back in Canada.

I attempted to get a quick haircut while in town. Within 3 minutes of walking in the door I realized how unwelcome I really was. Too many options in this town to deal with shitty comments about the color of my skin. read more

The owner, Kevin, is a nice guy unless he doesn't like you for some reason. While he may have misunderstood what I said one day about the Occupy people demonstrating at a park nearby (I meant no insult!), he is not beyond having some fun, IMO, at the customer's expense. By that I mean that my last cut after about 8, or so, cuts was by far the worst. I don't know if he did it on purpose, or if it was just the same kind of poor judgement he demonstrated by not blending in my cowlick anywhere near as well as my former retired barber did over time? I feel sorry for Kevin as he never came across to me as someone who loves his work, again, like my former barber did. I went from a "cheerful time" at my former barber's shop with fun conversation to someone who is offended way too easily, IMO. For example, I said to Kevin very diplomatically after about 5, or 6, haircuts where it still looked like "a bowl was put on the top of my head" near my cowlick: "Maybe it's the way I'm combing my hair..." and he cut me off in a "huff", and smiled saying "Yes, it is." His body language, outside of his smile, said he was offended, even though I tried to blame myself, and then he quickly moved on to cutting my hair. He got offended again the last time I was there when I brushed my hair with my own brush near the end of my haircut. The only reason I did it was to avoid what appears to me to be a plastic "cooties brush". I say it that way because he doesn't keep the brush in an antiseptic solution, like my former barber in SC did with a comb. He just quickly runs it under cold water as he uses it from one head to the next. While I never got head lice or any other problem from it that I know of, here is what the Mayo Clinic says: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/head-lice/DS00953/DSECTION=causes -- Brushes are a "less common" way of transmittal, but it can happen. Just watching that brush being used without barbicide on other customers while I waited turned me off, but I didn't dare say anything to Kevin, or he'd be offended. I'm hoping that Kevin being easily offended is a temporary thing, and that he starts keeping all hair instruments he uses in a " Barbershop Barbicide Fungicide Virucide Glass Jar" = http://www.sallybeauty.com/Barbicide-Jar/SBS-585016,default,pd.html? Life is too short to be easily offended about anything, Peace, Kevin read more
