Unfortunately, during one of the visits, my wall was damaged. I called multiple times and was repeatedly told the company would take care of it, but nobody ever followed through. Hopefully this review finally gets someone's attention.

He investigated the issue we're having thoroughly, and he gave us a really honest opinion about how he thought we should handle it. Unfortunately it was not something easy to fix, and he suggested we push the contractor who originally did the work to make it right before paying someone else to fix it. He could have easily taken it as a big job himself to fix someone else's work, but once he knew what the problem was, he encouraged us to try the route that would not cost us more money. In the end, Scott generously didn't charge us for his time despite spending a lot of time talking me through the issue and options. I'll definitely call Scott next time we're in need of a plumber!

I contacted Pristine Plumbing first attracted to their reviews. The technicians from Pristine…read morePlumbing arrived on time and were professional when they came to my home, which I appreciated. They were able to help address the immediate plumbing issue, but overall I'm giving 3 stars mainly because of the pricing, results, and communication. In my experience, the cost added up very quickly. The initial recommendation included snaking and a camera inspection, and after that did not resolve the issue, hydro jetting was recommended to address roots in the sewer line. I ended up spending over $2,000 (at least one third could have been saved if they did root cause diagnosis before snaking), but after the service, roots were still visible in the sewer line, so I'm still unclear on how much the hydro jetting actually accomplished. Communication after the service could also have been much better. The company advertises 24-hour service, but when I called after hours, I was unable to reach anyone. I also didn't receive a very clear explanation afterward of what was accomplished, what remained unresolved, or what the next steps should be. Overall, the technicians were hard working, punctual and helpful, but considering the cost, I would strongly recommend getting quotes and second opinions from a few plumbing companies before committing to several thousand dollars of work. For a major sewer or root issue, I would also make sure the expected outcome and warranty are clearly explained in writing before proceeding, there is a lack of post service communication .
