Ok, the place is very nice, service was impeccable. Wine and starters were excellent. We had the grilled cheese with orange jam and then the Trullo D'oro pasta. We like both very much. The entrees not so much. The lamb chops were well done and tasted very gamey. The Octopus was like rubber. I had one or two bites of each. The worst lamb and octopus I've had. Trullo D'oro was a last minute find wandering through the narrows streets of the Centro Storica. This Michelin rated restaurant is definitely worth the trip. Make a reservation and if you're Italian is non buono get someone to call for you. Simple and delicious, specializing in the local cuisines you will get a true taste of Puglia. Excellent restaurant. The food is just amazing with great portions. Dogs are welcome and vegetarian and vegan options are plenty. You must try the vegetarian antipasti, I think they brought in 10 plates of fresh and cooked vegetables. Located on a hidden alley off the main street, this is a gem in Alberobello.
