Well yesterday they were more then happy to talk to me when I paid 27,075.57 to pay off my car . Since I had to do 2 transactions due to their system allowing only $25000 per transaction. I was told by the rep to call back to make sure it was applied correctly and account closed. So I call back today and the woman will not tell me anything and says we need to speak to your husband. I said he called prior and gave authorization for me to speak on the account. She puts me on hold and then says we'll you were given wrong information. I said I literally called yesterday and also paid over $27000 and now you won't speak to me . So my husband is at work and now has to call to deal with this . This literally makes no sense at all . Then on black Friday, guess who didn't get payed...me...cause the bank couldn't figure it out! Bunch of idiots!! They like to purposely overdraft your account. So when I would get gas AND HAD $$$ IN MY ACCOUNT it would normally take a week and a few days to clear, oh but be down to only $5 and then buy a soda at work on a Wednesday night at 11pm...you bet that gas I got on Monday was dropping in to overdaft my account. This is why I know my pay begain to get posted later and later. I keep a balance on my phone and I hardly ever overdrafted my account so they had to get really sneaky about it...but I caught on to them holding back payments and then green lighting them first before they'd post my paycheck. Then when I told them to close the account and it was a $0.00 they didn't do it. Left it open and then changed me a $8.00 maintenance fee. Oh and if that's not enough....it overdrafted my account. $5 every day it was in the negative. They so kindly sent me a letter two months later. I was signed up for emails and text...but nothing letting me know. I'll never pay it. If you bank here you are an idiot! If you work here you are a lier and thief...I hope you die a long and painful death!

I've been with this bank around 2 years and never overdraft a single penny. Well here we are, 2 years in, and the manager Jennifer Lewis, said that I said some things about her that she didn't like because she put ridiculous holds on a $1k check from my dad's death! Everyone else at all the other branches said that's not their standard procedures, they only put holds on $10k+ so yes I'm sure I did say something about her because #1 you don't mess with someone's well-being and finances #2 you don't mess with someone's family. Yes I'm a handicapped single mom, I'm aware I don't keep money in that bank account. After cashing checks for 2 years, Jennifer Lewis alleged she spoke with the district manager ms Hayes and convinced her as well, no matter how much money is in my account and no matter how much my check is for or where it's from, there's to be a 10 day hold on ALL OF MY CHECKS! They put a 7 day hold on a check from a different bank that was a little more understandable, but this is petty and extremely unprofessional. Jennifer wanted me to close my account today, but I told her I'll do so shortly as I want to speak and give my opinion and experience as a customer. If you're so ugly on the inside, that it shows on the outside, that's a problem Jennifer. My father is my best friend and I lost him forever If your heart is able to know love, you'd know that losing someone makes everything hard and maybe I wasn't as humble and caring as I usually am, but I missed work and suffered an attack and it was very important I received MY MONEY to make sure the wellbeing of my child. If you have me at fight or flight, I may say things that aren't nice. That doesn't give a MANAGER any right to punish an 8 year old child! How BIG of a lady do you feel for doing all that? It's my opinion you were already quite a big lady you didn't need to step on children. So the same check that has been previously partially cashed immediately and/or completely available the next morning for the past estimated 20 or so times and held exactly 0 times with the SAME PREVIOUS HISTORY, NOW it's to be HELD 10 DAYS because Jennifer said "past History" that NEVER CHANGED! NEVER BOUNCED! NEVER OVERDRAFT! She confronted me that she heard that I "said some things that weren't nice" about her at ANOTHER BRANCH! So she's using her power of position for vengeance, revenge, and spite! That's stank energy and the reason I already opened another account anywhere and the same check that would take that bank 10 "business days" has already been made available to me and cleared TODAY! Unless you're friends or family with Jennifer and you feel you can trust her, I wouldn't recommend this bank and especially not the Martinsburg branch. Good luck

THIS BANK IS HORRIBLE!!!! I had gone over $16.49. And they told me I had a $10 leniency. So if I…read morewent over under $10 then I wouldn't incur an overdraft fee... Now that sounds all good. But what they don't tell you. Is that it's all about how they "process" it. So now because I was over $6.49 they want me to pay them a total of $98.64........even one overage is only $40.00. But they charged me twice on the SAME DAY an then said some bullshit that they were allowed to do so. I told them I lost my job and I could not afford all of that and I was willing to pay for the $6.49 plus the $40.00 overage...... They said they would not help me... Literally from the assistant managers mouth.... "we refuse to help you. You can pay it now or we can send it to collections"..... Wtf, are u kidding me?!? I've been using this bank for close to a year and they use my money everytime I cash my check and I don't charge them any fees or any of that. I had an overage from them before were I went over $60.00 from gasoline and they charged me $220 in fees!!! I didn't want my credit ruined so I paid the ridiculous price!! And she even had the balls to tell me..... "we see that u had an overage before and we are not willing to help you again"...... I said help me again?
