They checked me in right away. The rooms were perfectly lit - not too bright yet not too dim. The music was soft and at the perfect level. My massage therapist gave me different options as far as the type of massage. I stated as long as it's not a deep tissue massage. I had that once & for three days - I was in so much pain that it felt like I'd been in a car accident. So, knowing that he chose a shiatsu massage. I stated I tend to carry my stress between my shoulders and neck. Plus I'm so ticklish everywhere else! Having told him this, he began my amazing massage. It was the best gift that I could possibly received. When my massage was over - I secretly wanted to move in! I plan to give my best friend a massage there as well. Please try Escape Wellness Spa as you will walk away with out a care in the world and so relaxed!

I understand that English may not be their first language, but this had nothing to do with language--it was the tone, attitude, and body language that were disrespectful and made me feel very uncomfortable. After everything that was said and the way I was treated, there was not even an apology. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. It makes me question how a business can be run this way and expect customers to want to come back. Because of this experience, I would have to seriously think twice before returning.

Really appreciated that! The massage place is a quaint office like building and walking in just felt quiet and calm. When I first got there, Kelly had me fill out a piece a paper that helped indicate some health background. She then sat down with me and went through where I wanted to focus my massage on. Overall, the massage was worth it and relaxing for me. I'm sure at times I kept drifting off here and there. I had told Kelly that my trapezius muscles and low back were my constant buggers and she did emphasize on those. I can't say that the knots in my muscles are gone, but it was a good start on working out these knots. Kelly also didn't keep going at the knots that my muscles felt sore/bruised, which was nice. She has a medium-slightly heavy pressure and it was actually perfect pressure for me. I definitely recommend and will most likely schedule another appointment!
