She has provided care for my family for well over a decade, treating everything from bumps and bruises to more serious infections. She counseled and guided me through a chronic pain condition with skill and exceptional kindness. She also has a keen passion for working with families through end of life care. A few years ago, my grandmother suffered a stroke and was unable to sustain life without constant intervention. Melissa helped my family make one of the hardest decisions of our lives to withdraw life support. While this was a tragic experience, her care ensured that my grandmother's last days were peaceful and she was able to pass gracefully.

I knew Tammy years ago in another office that she moved into where she saw me twice . When she…read moremoved in , you couldn't miss her and her side business and love of photographing wild horses , that took over the whole office with price tags in the lower left corner. She become Dr.'s NP. Who had offered her services due to her obviously close and convenient access. I had experienced a grandmother passing and a great uncle passing in two consecutive months, and all four of my children were coming close to the end of the school year and I was concerned on how to make the struggle through the up and coming summer with everyone working and the kids being out of school . I worked as a third party draw station phlebotomist in the office and Tammy walked by and overheard me talking to myself about my troubles. I don't know what mom doesn't have council meetings about the stupid things the children are doing at home but I get frustrated and have to talk myself down ... o top of dealing with real like. I was diagnosed with ptsd and adhd by a licensed psychiatrist in 2011 and have had therapy and have been on medical for adhd in the past and sessions of depression when needed . I did ask if Tammy could help with my adhd meds because I was traveling over an hour downtown to see my doctor currently. She said she would be glad to do so , but never did Tammy communicate with me during my visit in her office she she was trying to diagnose me with a (mental illness) of her own . We didn't discuss it, nor did she state that when I would be arriving at the pharmacy, that a medication would be in the bag with my other medication that I was going to collect . I was just taking a lunch break that day and going to get the medication and returning to work . When I arrived back to work , I waited to speak to Tammy , asking why she had not communicated with me, as well as, the medication she had prescribed for me, I was familiar with and it was in numerous class action cases for severely side effects , terrible body disfigurement, suicidal tendencies, cases , it was all over daytime tv and it definitely called me to question her motives , her comprehension of my overall mental health , which was very little . She was coming from assumption and little to no knowledge about me at all and I was very confused. I asked what exactly was going on. She began by telling me that she was sorry for my family members and that my husband was probably putting up with a monster , lots of criticisms and I felt very attacked . Mistreated by Tammy , disrespected and threatened. She did no testing for the diagnosis she was claiming , as other psychiatrist was always done .. not just gone off of assumption and her unprofessional behavior was truly unwarranted and to be honestly quite alarming . I saw first hand the capacity of Tammy Manganelli, NP's ability to manipulate a patient so easily and fortunately there were people there who knew me who could verify that her accusations were very disaligned and unorthodox. I placed the medication in the sharps container right in front of her , in the office we were having the discussion, the last day I saw Tammy , and I was very displeased with her services . Furthermore.helping patients is such a beautiful dedication in this world and I don't say that Tammy doesn't help people , however what I do say is an overall evaluation is needed and the correct therapist for particular types of therapy is also needed . If you can not connect with your patient and be honest with your patient ? How are they supposed to trust you ? And for you to assume you know someone based off of previous patients or projecting your own experience into someone else's life story is beyond crossing boundaries. You're not helping them . You're hurting others by masking your own reality .

I would not recommend Alpha Health to anyone…read more At 34 years old, I've lived in a few cities. I've been seen by four different psych offices, each on a consistent basis. I've never experienced worse care than Alpha Health and Wellness, who just dropped me after less than a year due to the following: I was having a mental breakdown and scheduled an emergency appointment. They weren't able to get me in that day, so we scheduled for the next day. I couldn't wait until the next day, so I went to a 24/7 care facility. They took care of my needs, thank god. Amidst all the rushing around (I was working the next day), I fumbled my schedule and missed my emergency appointment. Since this was my second missed appointment, so they dropped me as a client. Someone one like me who very rarely experiences mental break downs might miss an appointment once every blue moon. Not having enough staff to accommodate an emergency appointment, day of, is a horrendous business practice for a psychologist. If not an emergency appointment, they should - at the very least - give references to another practice, or, give recommendations for other immediate services. Aside from this event, Alpha Health has: - Been late to virtual appointments - Twice sent my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy - Made every appointment feel like a first greeting, forgetting basic information about me and my needs. Alpha Health is far below the average. I feel sorry for patients who can barely afford them. Please do not settle for this practice. Alpha, do better for your clients.
