I can't believe how bad the service and communication was. All around, a bad experience and one…read morethat we need outside parties to come in and fix. Communication Multiple times throughout this journey, the office would schedule techs to come out and work without telling us. Those techs sometimes showed up and no one was here. Multiple times, we called for an update on when someone would come out and be told that someone was on the way or coming early the next day. They seem to have no concept that other people work and therefore are not available. They took about two weeks to even come collect their payment - more on that later. We gave them the housing plans and inspection report at the beginning of the process. Our techs said they never got them, but they also never asked or referred to them even after learning about them. Workmanship We just got a home and it needed some renovations. The inspection portion was good, they found things that were in the inspection report and seemed knowledgeable about how to remedy it. One of the things they did was to install a new breaker panel. They tore out the wall, put it in and left holes in the wall above and below the panel while showing no interest in fixing that. They also installed the home breaker crooked! We insisted that they fix it. They sprayed a hardening foam and then painted it. The wall is jagged, there is paint on the panel, it looks terrible. Other work they did seems fine. The big problem One of the items on the list was to remove a light on a cord in the dining area, which they did. But then they took that light (nice light and vintage) and absconded with it. They were supposed to put a flush cap but "couldn't because there were so many wires". When I asked them about it they somehow managed to put a flush cap after all. When confronted about where the light had gone, they started back pedaling. We got multiple stories. One, that he had put it "right there" on the floor and someone must have moved it (they were the only ones working in the house), two, that they put it in the truck and three, they threw it away. However, I got a text to come to the house while this conversation was being had between them and my lady and what I walked into was appalling. I walked in through the garage which was open and hung out there to listen for a moment - the tech was throwing me under the bus! Claiming that I had given them permission to remove the light (we never even spoke about it) and that the tech should have never listened to me because I talked like I knew what was going on but didn't (nice) and this was being done with raised voices; nearly yelling at my girl. When I walked in the door, the demeanor changed pretty quick. The tech went from his raised voice and frustration with my girl, to a lot more calm and polite once I was there. He was clearly trying to intimidate her. She confessed to me she didn't feel safe. When I walked in, I myself was worried. He then made an excuse of why they needed to leave and did so not too long after. No resolution to where the light went. Later, my girl got a call from the general manager and it was more of the same - "we don't know where your light is, tech said X, it's not a big deal, we'll give you one like it, etc.". So they basically took it without permission, got caught and that's history but don't have the conviction to own up to it. Please avoid this company.

I reached out to him regarding replacing the TXV on my 2-Ton Trane heat pump unit which was a R22…read moresystem. He informed me at the time of the call that he would be able to complete the job on my heat pump system and with parts and labor it would cost $908.53. So in order to confirm services that I would have to pay for the TXV part which was $349.09, and a time was scheduled for him to come out and take a look around the unit to make sure it was easily accessible. Coop stated he was not going to come out and do a diagnosis since I had already gotten one from another company he was just going to change the part in question. (I should have known he wasn't so reputable who runs a true business and strictly goes off what another business say and don't do there own proper diagnosis.) Coop and his son arrived at my home on 4/1/2026 @ 9:15am seen on multiple camera systems rushing taking their belongings on this side of my house where the heat pump system was located. My husband ended up working from home that day and looked out our side window to see Coop rushing and seeming to be very fidgety. At 9:22am my husband walked around the side of the house and Coop jumped in shock to see him home. After a while my husband proceeds to come in the house and look out the window during in which at the time Coop is supposed to be pulling vacuum on our system. When Coop saw my husband looking at him out the window ( he get his son to block the window so my husband cant see how much refrigerant is being recovered.) So, my husband goes back outside to ask about the refrigerant and was then told that we were low 4lbs. Mind you a reputable company came out a couple days prior and informed us the we had the proper refrigerant the issues with the TXV valve. So, OK at 10:21am he informed my husband that he had to leave to go and get a supply of R22 refrigerant to put back the 4 lbs that was all of a sudden gone from a couple days ago. (I'm not sure how this happen when the system hadn't been running and there was not a leak on the compressor.) He and his son returned at 10:42am rushing to finish the job due to earlier him stating he has to hurry up because he is son has to be to work at noon and he has to get some work out of him. Well here is another lie from this non disclosure of his. "It states labor would be approximately 3 to 5 hours", so you mean to tell me between 9:26 and 10:21 am you pulled and completely recovered old refrigerant, removed the old TXV, replaced / brazed the new valve using new seals, replaced the filter drier, ensuring the sensing bulb was correctly position and recharged my system properly in that short amount of time. By 11:20am he was asking my husband to turn on the A/C inside the house never informing us when he came back that he had put 407C refrigerant into our system. Never did we discuss him pulling R22 from our system and mixing it back with 407C. So sir if my system held 6 lbs of refrigerant and you recovered 2 lbs of R22 but had to put back 4 lbs of the 407C, you mix the Freon and locked my system up. He stayed at my home long enough to see the system turn on and he hurried up and left. My husband monitored the system after her left and notice not even 3 minutes after he left that the compressor was making a funny noise. He called him back and told him that there was an issues and the compressor wasn't sounding right and he states he did his job and it wasn't his issue. This system didn't run 2 full hours before completely going out. This guy mixed refrigerants and locked up our compressor. I reached out to him and his only resolution was that I signed a non disclosure, but yet you did follow the rules of your own non disclosure because it states you would " recharge system with existing refrigerant" and this you did not do you contaminated my system with 407C the oils mixed and locked up my compressor. I have proof of paper work from 7 reputable companies that this was the root cause of my problem. Your wanna be business is already listed as dead pooled it will just go down even more.

Replacing an AC is not fun. But Pitt Heating & Air made it as painless as possible…read more My AC stopped working during this very hot week. They were able to come and check out the problem within a couple hours. They attempted to just add freon but unfortunately that was not the issue. So we had to replace the whole unit. Everyone representing Pitt Hearing & Air was great to work with. They were great in going through the different options and the whole process with me. They arrived to install right on time, they worked hard all day. They were very respectful and pleasant. And my home is now so comfortably cool! I would recommend them for your AC needs.

PITT HEATING & AIR saved the day! I have been living in a remodel without a/c on the first floor…read morethrough some unbearably hot weather, waiting for the general contractor to "get to it." My neighbor told me about Pitt, and shared that he has used the company for two major household installations with great satisfaction. He encouraged me to call Pitt, and I did. WOW. Within 48 hours I had a brand new gas pack, all new duct work under the house, inspection completed, and functioning air conditioning (AND heat for the winter). They are honest, efficient, reliable, professional, clean, and extremely thorough. They carted away the broken down old heat pump, the air handler, all the old duct work, and a large shrub. After the installation was complete, and I had been enjoying the cool air for 24 hours, one of the owners stopped by to make sure I was completely satisfied. A business should always strive to leave a place in better condition than they found it. Pitt raised the bar for the rest of the service providers on my remodel project. (PS Getting rid of the old air handler for the heat pump opened up the hall closet under the stairs! Yippee!)
