It was close to closing but they had no problem filling my order. So I just asked if they could do something for $15.00 and have it delivered and it was no problem at all. The recipient of said flowers was so excited about what a beautiful bouquet of flowers it was. They really went out of their way to make someone smile and me too! I will always go to them for any flower needs and because of the way I was treated I will be buying more flowers for people. They made my little $15.00 bouquet look like a million bucks. When I came into the shop and she showed me the arrangement I thought it was simply a misunderstanding and asked her if I could change a few things. She made taunting noises and laughed at every change I made. I asked her for long lasting flowers. She said flowers do not last a long time. I asked her for suggestions and she just stared at me blankly. I love birds of paradise and asked her to add one to the arrangement. She told me it would look "stupid". My Father has been a customer for years. I called him to come and help me correct the situation. When he came she told him I had limited her to two flowers and that I would not take any suggestions that she made. My Father then said he loves birds of paradise. To which she responded "they're beautiful I tried to suggest them to her." Is she a 60 year old high school mean girl? Horrendous place. Horrendous woman. Unfortunately I'm sure my Father will continue to support them. However if you are not a rich old white man you will not get the service you deserve spending $150 on flowers.

I inquired late in the day on Monday to find out if the flowers would be delivered to the second sister and I was told that they didn't receive the order despite the fact that I had two screenshots confirming each individual order with each of their names. I'm not sure what happened here but not once did I receive an apology for the error. The flowers were, however, delivered to the second sister the following day. Both sent me photos of the bouquets that were delivered, and although the second delivery looked better than the first, neither looked nearly as nice as what was pictured on the website. Instead the flowers looked old, sloppy and thrown into a vase. This was my first time ordering from a Growers Direct and unfortunately it will also be my last.

We've had a long relationship with Deb's, so when sending a bouquet, we just give them the address of the person we are sending to, and we know a beautiful arrangement is on its way, no directions needed.
