Mr. Polage is ineffective and inattentive to critical facts of my case. I informed him about the…read moreamount of jail time I had served in 2022 which he doesn't remember of course. he appeared to disregarded my information. I was brought back for a jail review sentence in August 2025 and then again in feb 2026 on a DUI matter that originated in march 2020. I ended up serving 298 on my 3rd DUI mind you i got fourth DUI that sent me to prison which was 13 months with good time thats 9 months which I've done and finished DOC with no problem throughout the proceedings, it appeared that my so called attorney simply deferred to the prosecutor doheny or whatveer her last name is, rather that advocating for my interest or challenging that states position even the judge Sanderson resigned from my case, he wanted nothing to do with my case because this Yakima system is corrupted and can't do a job correctly. Mr. Polage instead of conducting an independent investigation of review of the facts and arguing on my behalf, he seemed content and did not care and accept the prosecutor doheny or whatever her last name is assertions. my case was not handled correctly while he told me in his words my case number was handed by a bunch of certain hands. my case was not handled with the diligence, investigation, and advocacy that a competent defense attorney should provide. This guy sucks, I did more time that I should have. He did not have my back after everything I told him.

NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever after that! We hired him to handled a simple CDL Citation (seat belt violation) and he sounded like a professional and knew what he was doing. Later, we had to call the Court to find out the Court date and the Court's ruling on said Citation (NOT DISMISSED) since this so-called lawyer did NOT bother to return calls, nor did he bother to answer emails. We wish we never hired this lawyer. It would still be the same outcome, but considerably less expensive! Total waist of time and money!!
