Mr. Bothwell met with us on a Saturday to get the claim started. His staff took care of requesting medical records, and making sure they had everything they needed from my husband. They acted as liaison between us and Social Security. My husband was promptly approved! Because the approval happened before the eligibility date, there was no backpay, so Bothwell & Hamill charged nothing for their services. My advice to anybody applying for Social Security is don't do it alone. Go to an attorney for your initial application.
