I was looking for their new address and was surprised to see some of the reviews below. Thought I'd…read moreshare more information for those looking to come to this church. Firstly, this is a nondenominational Christian church. By its very nature, it doesn't teach the philosophies of other Christian churches such as Baptist, Presbyterian, etc. What they have in common is the belief in the Bible and Jesus, but if you're looking for a place with hard stances on certain social or political issues, then this isn't the place. Faith Community preaches Christian values and biblical scripture to empower individuals to make their own choices. They will not, however, tell you what to think. Yes, it's a feel good church. You'll come here to get the word of God and hear a practical approach to the Bible. Every service focuses on a particular subject and sometimes they hold a series of services focusing on a particular story in the Bible. It's a great way to incorporate Biblical teachings into modern day life. Services typically feel practical, inspirational, and refreshing. Some people may prefer the "tough love" type of preaching and that's fine too, but you won't find it here. They do, however, have additional services for those seeking more focused Bible studies, women's group, etc. The congregation is diverse. The people that come here are all on a different path on their journey with God - some new to the church, some skeptics, and some who come from traditional evangelical backgrounds. Like any church, tithing takes part at some point in the service. And like any church, you're encouraged to give. It's completely up to the person though, and no one will guilt you if you don't. Personally, I've always been happy to give because I get to experience the donations at work. At the old location, this meant a clean and comfortable space that was always well-maintained and accessible for everyone. To me (and many others), it was clear that the money was well invested into the church. I hope my perspective helps others determine if this may be the right church for them!

I don't like the seating. But at the end I'm not there for comfort but rather to hear the word of…read moregod

Arrived at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Good Friday and it was a pretty good experience here. A…read morevery beautiful church and a beautiful waterfall fountain at the walkway before entering the church. If you're coming here for the first time, you may miss the entrance, so pay close attention when visiting. The Good Friday service was good for the most part. The Deacon was mostly doing the service, with Fr. also there as well. The overall service was good, but it was a little performative for me. I get because it was Holy Week, they know there would be more visitors, and it helps with the gift basket, so maybe that's what it was. But overall good service. The interior of the church is probably the most interesting piece about OLOGC. With very tall ceilings, elegant lamps, and beautiful wooden pews - it really makes this church a nice place to visit.

Always has an inspiring message of God's love and transforming ourselves to be more like Christ. They have an Adoration Chapel that is really cozy. 5/5 Community We've come a hand full of times here but there is a strong faith Community. 5/5 Parking Large parking lot but it does get full so arrive early before Mass. Overall a nice parish to visit. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us. Psalm 80:4, God bless

I know my fiance and I found this church through divine appointment!…read more Here's our story of how we found this church: They had signs up that they were having a car wash for $1. We decided to stop by, thinking we were going to give a little more to try to bless the church. When we got to the parking lot, THEY gave US a dollar and let us know that they were just out there washing cars, giving dollars, and blessing the community - no questions asked! We thought they were crazy, so naturally, we decided to check out their Sunday service to see what they were about. I gotta admit I wasn't convinced at first. Too many churches now-a-days preach what they think people want to hear. However, after about a month of attending church services, we knew this was our home church! Pastor Doug quickly became our mentor, friend, and therapist! Haha. In fact, he will be marrying us in about 2 weeks! He is very knowledgeable about so many topics and always preaches directly from The Bible. Pastor Doug is funny and so relatable, making it easier to understand difficult Biblical concepts that I've struggled with in the past. The church also has Grace Groups, which allow you to build relationships with other members that you might not have a chance to build on Sunday mornings. I've also never once felt pressured or obligated to give money, join the church as an official member, or forced to feel like I need to be a perfect Christian to be apart of their family. At the same time, God is definitely using Pastor Doug and the church members/staff to convict me to be more obedient to God, in the most loving and non-judgemental way possible. I joke with friends that I was so relieved to find out that they were "normal". They aren't on their pedestal looking down on me for barely coming back to God in the last couple of years. They hurt, feel sad, happy, angry, etc just like me! I've never felt more close to God and am INSTANTLY seeing how God is moving in my life - I'm letting go of past guilt, letting go of those feelings of not being good enough and finding my identity in Christ, learning how to let go of control/overthinking and letting Him do His thing...It's amazing! If you're looking for a home church or even if you're just curious about what wonderful plans God has for you, reach out, come visit, or join a Grace group meeting.
