History
Established in 2006.
In 2006, I started vending my handmade jewelry items at various events around San Antonio.
In 2008, I opened True Identity in Ingram Park Mall, and expanded into an alternative clothing/boutique store. We closed the store in 2010 due to increasing mall rent.
In 2020, I re-opened True Identity as a web-based rock, crystal and jewelry shop.

Meet the Business Owner: Robin Y.
My passion started when I was a child; collecting rocks, shells and fossils. I’ve worked in and out of jewelry stores since I was 16 years old. Over time, my passion grew for gemstones and crystals.
In 2004, I graduated as a Gemologist from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) out of Carlsbad, CA.
In 2006, I opened True Identity.
In 2019, I published a short story called “Awakened,” which is based on my personal experiences using crystals to help tap into recurring dreams I’ve had since childhood. The story also includes past lives and the occult.
In 2020, I graduated as a Registered Gemologist Appraiser from the International School of Gemology in Helotes, TX. I also earned my Applied Jewelry Professional diploma from GIA.
In 2022, I started selling crystals and jewelry inside “Crescent Moon Music & Collectibles.” I lease a small space there, where you can see the items in person.
