She was so caring that the morning after his surgery she was off the clock at 7:30 am but she stayed for FREE until I got there at 11:00 am to bring him home. My massage therapist has gotten me aligned better and with less pain than Dr. Miller just put me through. His exam room is dingy and too small to be doing adjustments in and there was more emphasis on an arbitrary "power game" than things like timed breathing and proper body positioning for adjustment. I'm also not a fan of ANY chiropractor that implies maintenance is necessary. If you want to charge me more to get the adjustment done properly, fine by me. Don't half adjust me and tell me the muscle tension and pain is part of the process. I know better. I've had Chiros fix worse issues in a single visit. Now I have a few vertebrae that are shifted and stabilizer muscles that are tense holding things together. Why I hated my adjustment: -Clumsy -Unsure -Missed torsion COMPLETELY on mid and lower back adjustments -Zero concern for the pain each adjustment caused despite my verbalizing it throughout -Stupid TENZ unit that made me spasm and pinch the affected area repeatedly.

This doctor is my 4th pain management doctor. I have been to plenty of other doctors that have…read moretried to make a customer out of me. Yes, waiting can be a bit hard in the office. The staff is friendly and the reason he runs behind is because he is so thorough with each patient. He does what he can to help you whenever he can. Also, he is the first doctor to ever actually listen to my issues and let me know that I'm not just some crazy person who is making herself feel pain or whatever. He didn't give me more medication than I should take. Years I had a doctor prescribing so much medication that I actually had (minor but scary) respiratory depression which then caused a panic attack, which they then prescribed Xanax for. Dr Nguyen doesn't actually want you on medication if he can find better ways to get you feeling better. Physical therapy, anything.... he isn't creating customers. He's helping people and doing what is right as a professional. He actually gave me hope when I was running out of it with my pain. I went from entirely excessive amounts of medications years ago to a mostly manageable pain level (everyone had their days) in comparison because he was willing to listen and help.

As scared as I was to have an injection into my spine, I felt confident in Dr. Hanna. He is extremely knowledgeable and completes countless epidurals...but I needed to trust him.
