The area with the animals was fun lots of piggies, goats, horses, tortoises, turtles, birds, sheep large bulls even! We never managed to find the rabbits, and there were some areas that were closed off when we went. There were some cute spots for good photos and my son had a blast. The market I had gotten some baked goods like zucchini chocolate chip bread, ooey gooey butter bar, and a lemon bar. Honestly I had higher hopes. The zucchini bread was pretty dry and didnt have shredded zucchini like I hoped, the base for the bars was not my favorite. And the lemon topping was not to my liking. I havent opened the pickles I got yet so cant judge those. I think ill stick to just buying produce next time. However the space overall its a fun experience and I'm glad I went.

I wear six-gauge jewelry in my ears and have a place I go to inside the market. La Moda has a great selection and good prices. You can find almost anything throughout the swap meet from health herbs to exotic live snakes. There are a few food eateries as well. There is a small fee to enter and since I'm a Senior (over 60, not high school), it costs 50 cents. Fantastic Swap Meet is a good place to explore whether you're looking to buy something or not. I picked up 2 bags of pistachios, 1 container of spicy corn nuts, and 2 bags of dried fruit for $20. Besides Ruse Vegan Kitchen, there was a Crawfish place where we grabbed some fries ($4) and canned sodas. The Art Coffee Bus was also in attendance along with 2 other food trucks. They had apples, grapes, oranges, lemons, avocados, carrots, zucchini, onions, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, garlic, string beans and so much more I can't even remember it all. The apples were AMAZING! The cherry tomatoes were so good too and I don't generally eat them alone. Everything we got was excellent and full of so much flavor. Everything beat what the grocery stores deliver any day.

We paid our $30+ dollars (3 Adults and one toddler) and purchased two bags of hay to feed the farm animals. The staff lets you know ahead of time what animals one can feed ... there weren't as many animals as we thought there would be, but our grandson enjoyed feeding the ones he could. Our grandson was interested in the train ride, but we felt $5 to go around in a circle a few times was a bit much, so we decided we had paid enough honesty. It's a good experience for children to see a variety of animals from chickens, cows, pigs, lamas, ponies and more.
