They have a small, but good variety of classics (chocolate, vanilla, mint chip), sorbets (guava, lemon lime, etc) and fun favlors (banana pudding, pistachio, etc). Got the mint chip. You can definitely tell it's homemade, as it tastes flakier and "warmer", and less artificial and icy than retail ice cream. First impressions are EVERYTHING....I Will never return to this business. When we walked in the young lady didnt even greet us . This was my VERY FIRST time trying there (homemade ice cream), so I asked to try some flavors after the second tasting she said no more. Loved the ice cream- I went with peanut butter. Not as adventurous, but very good! Two scoops was also less here than I am used to them being in the city, AND I could get two flavors in the smallest cup! I also had to return to get my phone back after accidentally leaving it there, and the server was super sweet. OVERALL/WHAT TO KNOW: -Really good home-made ice cream from a lovely small business. The ice cream reminded me of gelato. ARRIVAL: -I came on a weekday afternoon in September of 2023. There was no line at all. -I only went here because I was walking by, I wanted ice cream, and I noticed that this was a small business that advertised their homemade ice cream. FOOD/DRINK: -I forget what it was called, but I got this dark chocolate flavor with coconut and caramel mixed into it. It might have been called German chocolate. -The flavor was mostly strong and chocolatey with the occasional variation from the little pieces of coconut and caramel. The coconut and caramel added a nice little crunchy texture too. SERVICE: -Server was really friendly and helpful! She gave me good advice when I asked what to get and let my try a few samples. ATMOSPHERE/LAYOUT: -I could not see the digital menu very well because it's very high and it changes every couple seconds so it was hard to see the full flavors list. I could read the flavors easier when I was looking at the labels in the glass display case. I still didn't know what ingredients were in each flavor though. For example, I think mine just said German chocolate and I only knew it had coconut and caramel in it because the server told me. -The layout was simple and straightforward. It's one room with an ice cream display counter towards the left that's connected at a right angle to a service counter with the register on it. -There is a bar up against the window with a handful of stools where people can sit and eat SUGGESTIONS FOR BUSINESS: -It would be great to have a menu that's easier to read and that has a list of what's in each flavor, like a print out or something. read more

Clean, bright store with plenty of places to sit. The selection includes homemade ice cream, home made waffle cones and a unique soft serve that is vanilla with a healthy swirl of orange sherbert. It's as if a Creamsicle twirled into a cup. The portions are well-sized for the price. A double scoop here is less that a single scoop at other shops. The woman who helped us was attentive, personable and knowledgeable. We got the chocolate brownie with bits of brownie in it and the Trudy Fruity which had real cherries in it! This is seriously some of the best ice cream we've had in New York City. The flavor, the consistency, the presentation, the delicious waffle cone. They don't have a ton of flavors, and the ones they do have are somewhat basic, but the quality and flavor are excellent. We had a scoop of German chocolate and maple walnut, and they were both delicious. Though the staff was nice, they clearly didn't know what they offered and when we ordered something they said yes and then told us after that they couldn't make it.
