I needed two tires during our move to West Plains. I asked around a bit and Gary's Tire came up…read moreenough for me to call them. They had my tires within a couple of days (not a model often stocked there) and mounted them right up. Staff were fast, efficient and friendly.

Used to be a fine shop, but something changed and they are likely to get someone hurt. Took our…read morevehicle here to get some simple stuff done. When we got the car back, we noticed a massive dent but thought perhaps we just hadn't noticed it before (we had just gotten the car not long ago). We started noticing this weird brining smell and sound, for a week we couldn't figure it out. One day I was driving slowly with my window down and could hear this horrible sound getting louder and louder. Luckily I was just about home, because when I stopped and got out to look, it was the brake caliper on the driver's side tire that was not bolted and was scraping the inside of the rim! I drove home slow and had someone take me to get a bolt to fix it. The issue is that our car wasn't being seen for anything to do with tires or anything that required tires to be removed to fix. Odd. We lifted the hood to try to figure out the burning smell a day later because now we are wondering what they were doing to our car. To our shock, the hood latch FELL OFF. Someone had taken all but one bolt out, leaving the one bolt to barely be screwed in with no nut. Now we are mad. They were called and they refused to compensate or make it right. Not but a few days later, my car abruptly quit moving forward while I was driving and it's junk. I don't know what actually was done to my car, but this place did SOMETHING. I don't know why, I don't understand it. It's almost like they swapped my parts with junk or something and were in a massive hurry to put our car back together. They are associated with Hughes Towing, which oddly enough also destroys people's vehicles and will NOT make it right. Avoid these crooks! Especially Gary Hughes, he's rude and thinks it's appropriate to threaten and intimidate women when they tell the truth about his swindling scams!

I called and the guys at Quality Tech Transmission got me right in for diagnosis. They had me in and out with parts ordered in about 30 minutes. Gave me extra fluid to help hold me over until the next day. I brought me truck back the next day. The parts didn't all come in and I had a BAD leak!!! The guys took parts from a few different packages, and worked to fix my problem. In my opinion they went over to get me fixed and down the road. And they did fix my problem. The price was very reasonable and service was fantastic!! Guys and Gals don't mess with people who don't care if you have a problem or not. Call the guys at Quality Tech Transmission. They will take care of you!!

If we continue to loose it, bring it back. Second trip, still loosing fluid. They found out it was leaking into the transfer case. Replaced the seal and charged a reasonable price. Got it home and the fluid was low. I figured they just may have not got it filled up all the way. I filled it. A week later we were still loosing fluid. When we took it back, Gary acted as though we were bothering him because we were still loosing fluid. Lo and behold, they damaged the seal when replacing it and it was still leaking. They fixed it and didn't charge us...of course they didn't apologize for our inconvenience of having to bring it back the 3rd time. Brian was great to deal with but Gary was a real grump (to put it nicely). With his attitude, I'm surprised they are still in business. We won't go back!
