We visited on a Monday night, so we basically had the place to ourselves. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We opted for the chef's table with wine pairing, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Both the chef and the staff were attentive and engaging throughout the evening.
The menu was unique and creative. The menu does change twice a year per chef. This season of the menu we had the chance to try sweetbread for the first time. The chef prepared the dish really well, making it flavorful and surprisingly easy to eat (considering sweetbread can sometimes be a bit tricky for some). Every other dish was also excellent, and we left the restaurant feeling incredibly satisfied and full.
If you're in the area and open to trying something special (and willing to splurge a little), Messina is definitely worth a visit!
