Trial was in April 2012 Right from d jury selection process all the way to his closing statemen Mr Kroll brought his A game. He argued my case till the end and the jury found me not guilty on all count. ALL COUNTS! ALL!!!!!!!!! Win or loose i would still hire this young man.he will come to war with d biggest weapon.. Thank you Mr Kroll for giving me my life back On 2nd day of trial, i could tell Mr kroll stayed up all night preparing. The judge did not allow us use a major part of our defense. Just when i thought my life as i know it is over, mr kroll creatively found a way around it on the spot.. A Deeply Troubling Experience Please Read Before You Hire…read more I hired this law firm a couple of years ago, and my experience was extremely distressing. What I expected to be ethical, professional representation turned into one of the most disappointing and harmful experiences of my life. Throughout the course of their representation, legal agreements and professional obligations were not upheld. There was a clear lack of transparency, diligence, and follow-through. Even the most basic protections owed to a client were ignored. Instead of honoring the initial agreement and completing the work I had already paid for in full, I was pressured for additional, excessive fees while important parts of my case were left incomplete. During critical stages of my case, I was abandoned without proper notice or support. When I finally obtained my case file, I discovered deeply concerning communications and what appeared to be the unauthorized sharing of confidential information actions that caused real harm to my defense, my rights, and my safety. As a civilian and member of the public, I strongly believe that those with legal authority have a duty to uphold justice and protect their clients, not compromise them. Too often, situations like this are quietly dismissed or covered up but firsthand experiences can't be erased when shared truthfully and publicly. That's why I'm writing this. She sought out a plea bargain for me that back dated my credit for time served so I would get the credit for the year I had already been incarcerated. Come to find out that my plea agreement wasn't lawful or legal. So then after finding out that Oregon department of corrections wouldn't honor my plea agreement me and my family called and called to ask Anna Lasher to simply go to bat for me and get me the credit for time served that she, the prosecuting attorney, and judge all signed off on she blew me and my family off and wouldn't return our calls. Going through these people was a costly decision and the worst decision I've ever made because it cost me an entire year of my life that I will never get back. If you're considering hiring these people or Anna Lasher herself, just save your money because you'll end up needing it while you're in prison anyway. You would have a better chance at winning your case by representing yourself or even hiring someone from your nearest homeless encampment to represent you in court. Absolutely and completely incompetent at their jobs.
