Honestly, the snow cones are just about average that you would get anywhere else. Nothing special like the place used to be years ago. TBH, the girl who worked there was nice enough, but the little posse that surrounds her we're a bunch of vagrants one of them accused me of stealing stuff off of his table, which is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know why five kids need to run one snow cone, Mobile or maybe they're all just there hanging out stealing from the owner. Came here twice and the ice is pretty finely shaven and good but it's disappointing to see they raised the prices and also has very inconsistent hours. It said it opened at 2pm but I showed up at 2:30pm on a hot Moab summer afternoon and it was closed with no one in sight. Came back again the next day and luckily the lady was working. She seemed friendly and nice. The flavors are a little bit watered down. I had a few different flavors, the red raspberry was my favorite because it was the most flavorful. You aren't paying for much, a bunch of fluffy ice that melt downs to a fraction of its size, so $6 is just a little too much for the size and quality. If they went back to their older prices and had more consistent (and also preferably later evening hours too) hours, it could be worth five stars, as there aren't many dessert places open in the evenings (basically just a frozen yogurt place is the only thing open if you have a sweet tooth after dinner). read more

TERRIBLE service. So rude. Before we even ordered they told us we needed to move our car because after they served us they were moving the trailer into that space. They list a ton of flavors, but they don't have 1/2 of them. They list 3 sizes, but only have medium and large and won't make you a "small". Also, it was the most expensive., smallest "medium" I've ever seen. (Should have taken a picture.) They asked if we had cash because their credit card machine was down, but then wouldn't take our cash because it was too big of a bill. Also, no garbage can. It was a good stop after a hike. If you're looking for a lot of sweetener this is your place:) they top the shave ice with a lot of the syrup so the ice melts pretty fast. It gets the job done if you are looking for something cold during a hot day but it's not even close to authentic shave ice like in Hawaii:) I got the mango tango and the flavors were good. It's really difficult to find authentic tasting Hawaiian shaved ice on the mainland, but this shaved ice truck gives it a decent shot. It really hit the spot after a long day of trails. Compared to shaved ice places say in Kauai Hawaii, they give you a serving that is about twice the size at about 1/2 the typical price there. Can't understand why the price is so high in Hawaii-the cost of ice is pretty much at the margin (aka almost zero). Anyway, when it's super hot in Moab, this was a great thirst quencher. read more

I'm from New Orleans, so I am constantly on the search for a snowball that can live up to that. This place is as good as I've gotten, not a snowball, but so good. The shaved ice was so fine, and it came in this huge cup. They show you the size, but you don't realize how large it is on top. They have really cool combinations of flavors. If you get a chance, definitely stop by, especially on those hot Moab days. read more

Real shaved ice! No chunky ice crystals here. Came by after seeing a sunset up in Arches National Park. The place was miraculously open an hour later than posted. Lots of flavors. Color changing spoons were neat. Only wish that red bean, tapioca and condensed milk were available. read more
