Stop here on my way home from work was craving a smoothie. Got to drive through had to say hello twice before being waited on. Took my order twice only ordered one thing and he needed me to repeat my order. I moved forward two cars in front of me moved smoothly. My turn guys takes my payment then just sits there while another girl runs around doing all the work. I waited like 15 minutes before got who took my money went to make smoothie. Okay, so I've only ever been to the Tropical Smoothie in Rochester and it was silly of me to assume I would get the same treatment here. When you walk in, there's really no clear signage to let you know where to order vs order pickup. There was people scattered everywhere, very confusing (1 family by the way). It took 3 minutes for anyone to even notice I was there and was slightly ignored when i asked for a smaller menu. The white woman had to get the guys attention, he handed me one and went back to making orders. I was ignored a bit longer and then a young lady took my order, she then also went back to making orders. I waited a very long time, enough to where I had to leave and punch into work, otherwise i would of been late. A quick smoothie trip turned into a long unnecessary trip. Thanks for reminding me about the budget Update: when I returned, I noticed not ALL the workers wear gloves. I watched a guy making orders (wore a hat with black straight hair) put together several orders without proper gloves and PPE. I placed an online order thinking I could pick it up in the store. I arrived at 12:25 pm before my order was ready. Unfortunately, the inside was closed to customers so I had to wait in drive thru. I did not get to the speaker until 12:55pm. I asked the guy could everything be made over (smoothie & quesadilla ). The guy asked what was wrong and why did i want my food remade. I had already explained to him that I waited in line for 30 minutes(the food had been sitting). When I took a sip of my drink it was watery and my food was cold. Our second time here and we can't wait to come back! The Supergreen Ceasar Salad came with a lot more chicken than you would usually get at a restaurant. The vegetables were very fresh. The Thai Chicken salad was just as great! As for smoothies, we can't say enough about the Beach Bum and Pomegranate Plunge! The fruits are refreshing and sweet! The service was fast! Used to come to this location all the time but recently revisited and attempted to order a smoothie (Double blended). Which apparently you have to say if you don't want the ingredients whole in a cup here. Upon the first try couldn't get the smoothie to even come through the straw it was so thick. Went back inside to ask for a remake. The second one was almost worse! I would've needed a spoon to get the "smoothie" out of this cup. I finally got a sip out and it tasted as pitiful as it looked. I I don't know why there is an average 2 1/2-3 star rating for this place, but they've always been great when I come through here. Today I ordered my usual and I always forget to tell them to add blueberries. She gladly offered to remake it after I noticed my mistake. I said no it was my fault it's ok, but she insisted it was ok and wanted to remake it for me! Customers do need to understand that they're making everything by hand customized with only 5-6 blenders and 3-4 employees, and they have inside orders as well as drive-through orders and food to prepare and make as well! Sandwiches, fruit and veggie prep, cleaning the blenders, etc., so you have to be considerate of that. But my service was A-1 with Julia! (She doesn't like her pic taken but she was awesome!) Bad customer service. Placed an online order for 9 people. Went to pick it up and asked if this was everything because the bags seemed small. Male worker was quick to say yes and dismiss me. Got all the way back to work to find that two orders were wrong - immediately called to rectify the issue. Went back to pick up the corrected items and the same male worker goes "she's back." Another worker came around to hand me the bag, didn't say ONE single word and went back behind the bar. The online order was literally spelled out in front of them. Waited in the drive-through for almost 35 minutes on April 24th at around 6:20, had the drive-through attendant come out and say she'll be with us in just a moment since the line was long.
