This review is from a Door Dash order, so can't really comment about the business. I wanted something light and cool, and I decided to get a smoothie. I have also had the acai bowls from here before so I decided to get another one. Both arrived and were very good. The acai bowl was full of fruit, most of it very fresh. The chia banana smoothie I got was ok, not the most flavorful but I thought I would try it. I would like to think I would order from here again. Based on other reviews, I hope the store is cleaner and the service better. My order was done promptly, and I received it in good time. Hope things have changed for the better. read more

Honestly the place is extremely dirty and was questionable for me to even place an order. The employees working were very unprofessional. One was on the phone cursing, the others were screaming at one another and pictured below is how my drink was handed to me. $10 down the drain because ew. Owner needs to get it together if they want to keep their business producing revenue. That was awful and I'd never go there again. read more

From out of town and saw this place and was craving a smoothie. I walked in and a man from the back came to the register. Not a hello, not a smile, just what do you want. I said I had never been here before and he didn't seem to care or suggest anything. I placed my order and there was a tip screen. I didn't want to tip but I couldn't figure out how not to. So he got a tip for nothing. I sat at a table for my smoothie. The man came out again and placed a drink on the counter and said nothing and went into the back again. I looked at the ticket on the drink and realized it was mine. The worst customer service and by the way he had a ear piece in. For all I know he was on a call. The name on my drink says Telvin. I assume that's who helped me. I hope the owner reads these. Please get new employees or train the ones you have. Smoothie was good. read more

I walked in to pick up a DoorDash order today and it smelled so bad of weed. Literally like they just smoked in the building. That seems really safe around food and smoothies.!! one time I walked into this place and they were sitting there playing card games! Please don't spend your money at this location so they shut down or fix it. read more

Service was amazing I loveeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! And good food Service was amazing I loveeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! And good food

Worker working on the 5th has a horrible attitude. Extremely lacking in professionalism. Didn't even know what I ordered he basically threw my items on the counter as they fell out of the bag before going back on his phone. Absolutely appalling. read more

This is the worst tropical smoothie I've ever been too. Customer service was horrible. I waited 15 mins and they forgot about my drink. When I sId something Jada the horrible manager got an attitude w me, rude laughing in my face. Had to argue to get my money back. Very unprofessional. This is why I go to smoothie king, where customer service is what it is. When I asked for the general managers name and info they refused to give it to me. Very ignorant of the staff the way they treat customers. I can guarantee you I won't be back. read more

We have given this location several tries and they manage to screw things up almost every time. Today we came in to a line and when we got to the register; we were greeted with a sarcastic "you ready to order?" followed by another worker yelling from the back that they "f**cked up the watermelon smoothie so you want a refund or what?" to a mother with 2 small children with her. This is definitely the most unprofessional moment I've witnessed at the most unprofessional location I have ever visited. read more

I got a smoothie today from here. I have been coming here more lately but what I heard one employee say to the other employee after a customer left, had me completely shocked. Since this employee wasn't wearing a name tag I can only tell you what she said and when she said it. Today is July 25 and at around 2:50 your employee was asked by a customer to make a food item. The skinnier employee said "oh we are out of that" to the customer and the the bigger employee genuinely trying to help said "oh we are?" and the employee replied yes. After the customer left, the skinnier girl said to the other girl, "If we don't feel like making something we just tell the customer we are out of it." Hey owner your going to loose business with employees like this. My smoothie was good though but as a general manager of a fast food restaurant myself, I would not be ok with this being my employee. I would like to update the bigger girls name who was kind and took our order name was Alyssa so the other girl is the one who told the customer that they were out of some thing and then proceeded to tell Alyssa that if they don't feel like making some thing to tell the customer they're out. I hope this helps. read more

Horrible customer service very disrespectful nonchalant attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The food is garbage over priced and most importantly your manager that was on duty at 3:20 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 has the worst attitude. With a manager like that I understand why the ratings are low. Good luck keeping the doors open read more

Just went in after work to pickup a smoothie. Mocha madness with peanut butter added was delicious. That being said, as soon as I walk in the first thing I notice it 3 girls in skimpy outfits sitting at a table and LOUDLY gossiping and cussing about one of their "friends." After waiting about 10 seconds to be acknowledged one of the girls gets up to take me order. Weird that she's sitting on the job and is dressed like that to work. I've been in food service for 6 years, so I would know that it's not very professional. The young man who made my smoothie was very nice and told me to have a good day. As for everyone else who is staffing the place, they could do with some training as well as some self respect. Table was gross and had straw wrappers, receipts and dried smoothies on it. Wouldn't recommend this place. This is the only "bad" review I've ever written, but bad service is the one thing that always gets me. Definitely won't be coming back :( read more

I placed an order online for delivery on 8/14. The Doordash driver never delivered my order which they confirmed. I was then transferred to a Tropical Smoothie representative who told me the store owner would issue a refund in 7 days. Today is day 20 still no refund. The owner, who I'm told is never on site will not return my calls. I have called customer support & sent an email and I've been told several times that the store manager hasn't responded to them either. read more

Horrible place! We walked in and while standing in line could hear the staff in the back yelling and f-bombing every other word. The woman at the register yelled for them to be quiet ignored her. It was horribly hot in there also. This place needs new staff! read more

Yum, Lucius is super great. awesome atmosphere and the flatbreads are fire and fuel me right up.

I ordered a delivery, yes they use Door Dash, I have ordered with Door Dash and never have an issue, so with Tropical Smoothie I didn't think I would have one with them either. But I did, my delivery never made it, I got a text because I was working from home saying they couldn't find my address, even though the address is on the side of the house. I tried to contact Tropical Smoothie both through the app and through corporate, I never received a call or comment. I will NOT be visiting them again, I can say you shouldn't either. read more

I decided I wanted to get a smoothie for my birthday today and walking into the store, the lady at the counter could care less, hiding behind the counter on her phone . Took her a minute before she decided to even notice I was there. I Pulled up my free smoothie coupon for my birthday and lady told me it didn't show up and that I needed to refresh my app. Coupon gone. Thanks for that, and I lost my free smoothie. I don't think I will return to this location, the service is just terrible. I recommend the location in port orange. Much better employees, food, and atmosphere. This isn't the first time this location has been a problem. read more

The service here is terrible. The staff (aside from one girl) is very rude and not attentive at all. They messed up a lot of orders and even knowingly handed someone another persons food .The food is decent but you have to wait forever to get it and they mess up the orders a lot. This store consistently gets orders wrong or forgets items, and at peak hours, the wait can be as long as 20 minutes. They've been getting better recently, but it is hit-or-miss with the quality of the food. The smoothies are great, but I might find a different location if you're looking for a bite to eat. read more

It's fine, but not quick at all. I ordered 1 smoothie, it took 20 minutes to get. Unacceptable.

great smoothies but if you can go to the next one, go ahead. The service isn't anything to go crazy about & the employees aren't as pleasant. The smoothies are average priced (could be cheaper) but nonetheless fresh + heathy. I like them for a healthy detox. read more

Just asked the simple question if the salsa for the santa fe quesadilla was on the actual item or on the side, she then said walking away "why do you people have to order things like rocket scientists." Im sorry, those rocket scientists pay your check. If you are so obviously upset with your current job then go take your butt to find a new one like every normal human being. The one nice customer was the older lady with white hair who actually paid me a compliment and asked if everything was correct. I didnt know salsa was so complicated for some people. Hope everyone in the back has a better day because thats just plain embarrassing for them :) Being in customer food service myself, Id much rather attend the Wayback burgers next door who were phenomenal and super nice. Every customer that walked in after us had a similar experience and that was only for the 10 mins we were there. read more

i came in an hour before closing wednesday 4/10 for a takeout order and the cashier was extremely rude and refused to take our order. said she wouldn't make any food items because she had a "busy" day and wanted to clean so they could close early. her other coworker even seemed confused on why we were being sent away. i wish i would've gotten her name so management could do something about her terrible customer service. after seeing other reviews this seems to be a common theme with this location. i would be more understanding if i had shown up minutes before closing time but their hours are clearly stated as 9pm and i was there at 8. very disappointed. hope management can find better staff as it's clearly needed. i'd give 0 stars if i could. read more

Long waits and terrible customer service! After waiting for 20+ minutes and watching multiple people that came in, ordered and were served after me, I asked for a refund and left. I ordered 3 smoothies and 2 flat bread sandwiches..one with cheese and one without. I have a severe dairy allergy and cannot have cheese! They put cheese on my sandwich and specifically told them no cheese! Guess what y'all? It had cheese!!! And raw bacon!!!!! When I took it back to them they acted like it wasn't a biggie no apology. Throwing me my money like I just didn't spend $20 on this b.s. This is the kind of behavior is unwarranted and disgusting. I returned everything bc the vibe was off. Including that nasty smoothie. He tried to tell me I tasted it so I couldn't return it. Yea OK! I would give zero stars but I had to give one to post this review. DO BETTER read more

Grabbed a smoothie for my coworker and I before heading off to work. I order a smoothie off the menu and she wanted hers made differently. The worker gave me another customer smoothie and when my coworker noticed it, I called the store to informed them of the mix up. Immediately, I was to blame for taking the wrong smoothie. I asked to go back for the correct one and he agreed. Well, my office is about 15mins away from the store and I had a meeting. 2hrs later- After finally having the time to go back to the store, my coworker wanted a refund. I informed them that I no longer wanted the smoothie and would like a refund. The manager told me I needed to bring the other smoothie back. Yuck! But very well, I called my coworker to bring the smoothie. Then the manager said I could only get store credit and gave me a gift card. Fine! I'll take it. Then I noticed she only gave me 4$ for a smoothie that was 5.49$ BEFORE taxes. Two smoothies totaling 10.63 and I only got back 4$. When I addressed the small amount, the manager then proceeded to explain I got the smoothie during happy hour 7am-9am. Overall, customer service sucks! They weren't taking accountability for their wrongdoing and then cheated me out of my money. I normally go to Smoothie King for my smoothies but I figure this one was closer. Never again! read more

Came here to try the Vegan chicken option since I am vegetarian. I was asked if I wanted cheese or not and I explained that was fine "I just don't eat the meat". When I got my flatbread I opened it up and picked around to find some bacon. Not great but not a huge deal just asked that they remake my sandwich with no meat. Mind you I touched every part of this flatbread from the bread to the tomato. The women remaking my sandwich take everything off the bread but started to make my sandwich with the same bread when I asked that she replace it she did. SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO USE THE BREAD MY GIRL AND I HAD TOUCHED FOR SOMEONE ELSES ORDER!! My girl then called her out for it. Disturbing if she would do the right in front of me then admit to it what are they doing when people aren't watching? This makes me very uneasy I don't recommend this Tropical smoothie!! read more

Got a chicken salad sandwich.....got it lettuce was old and brown. Then they tried to remake it same thing except this time when she remained at the lettuce was old and the bread was so overly toasted all it did was crumble my six-year-old son said the Smoothie was good though so I guess that's a plus nobody wants to go into a nobody wants to go into a healthy restaurant expecting something nice fresh crisp to get this very disappointed read more
