He said no, we can do it this time. He asked me for my order. As I sat there at the window waiting, I noticed a girl who was working there staring at me. She said "I feel bad for her" not to me, but about me. Since this was in earshot, I can only assume she wanted me to hear. I felt bad too. I was extremely embarrassed and felt like I was inconveniencing the workers. I was looking forward to my sandwich after a long day at work, but being treated rudely really soured the experience. Also, the man who took my order asked me if I wanted multi-grain bread, and I said yes. However, my sandwich was on white bread. I have worked customer service, and I don't expect (or even want) fake friendliness or enthusiasm. But I think that basic respect (or at least not being disrespected) is not asking for too much. I would recommend better training for employees. I was extremely disappointed with my experience, and will not be returning to this business again.
